So if we are to believe all the doom and gloom and we are already down, and that there will be loads of non renewed season tickets and empty seats.
Where is the optimum place for a season ticket if you could sit anywhere in the Bet365?

Your username always makes me want to post this. TFC blasting through a Pink Floyd number. Off topic of course.

End of a row on the back row of the lower tier of the main stand on the half way line above the dug outs. You can stand up to stretch your legs, nip our for a slash or some refreshment without bothering anyone, you are far enough back for perspective while still close enough to see the players breath on a cold day and your view is essentially that of the 2 managers. You can watch the whole thing play out. Look above you to see Mr Coates looking on poker faced wondering how and why it has all gone so badly wrong. You can see the press corps and Nige planning his first question, 'Paul, your reaction to that?'. Below you Paul himself is jumping up and down like a swarm of bees have escaped in to his electric blue, market stall, tracksuit bottoms. Oh, and best of all you're not obligated to sing in that section, which no self respecting person over 30 should do anyway

I'd like a wall in front to lean on. There could be some cracking seats coming available.

I would not be suprised to find that ST sales don’t suffer as much as people are predicting.
I would like to move to the q rail upper tier nearer to the half way line.
I bet there won’t be many available. 😟

I bet there won’t be many available. 😟 The half way areas are always popular (mine is half way along the Sentinel/Seddon/DPD/whatever-it-is-this-season). Whenever I pass up the Cup game Season ticket reservation opportunity, I'm amazed how fast mine goes. (And I sit and give daggers to whoever's in it on the day of the match ). I have a wall infront of me and it's on the end of a row. That can be a bind though as people to and fro from recycling ale.

Are you sure you are not NH ? i thought he was in the q. 🙂

I/We have sat there since 1997 - we used to have 3, but my Uncle died in 2001. Used to sit further forward til we realised the roof didn't cover the seats so my dad moved us back a few rows after a couple of games in the '97-'98 season ("sure, pick where you like" they said at the ticket office - those were the days). I heard THE NH sits over in the QR too. I think you'll find you might drop on a decent seat or two if you look at the mood on this board at the minute.

Season tickets should be renewed for fucking free given the shite we've had to put up with these past 2 years - it's the least they could do.......would cost less than a Wimmer

Exactly were I sit at that moment and will always sit until they knock the place down or I am not able to go - so that seat is taken 😁

In all fairness if you’d said 12+ years ago to any stoke fan your going to have over 10 years in the premiership , beating the likes of arsenal , shit, etc, get to a cup final and Europe with a good first 3/4 years at the Brit with great atmosphere but then the bond (and greed/complacency) between board, fans & players fell apart you’d still have it now !!

Where is the optimum place for a season ticket if you could sit anywhere in the Bet365? Depends on what you want from your seat. 1) A clear view of both goals - don’t perch behind either goal. 2) Desire to get involved with singing - don’t sit in Q.Railing (and don’t pretend you do West Standers) Boothen End and the South Stand are your best options. 3) Quick get away - don’t sit high up or in the middle of a row. We sit next to the Family area, mid row, 3/4 of the way up and we have a great view of both ends, get involved with singing but takes 10-15 minutes to get out after the final whistle. It really is about the kind of experience you want.

Can always swap seats at half time depending which why stoke are shooting -ie: block 29 when shooting towards boothen or block 33 when shooting towards south stand. At least our new shiny seats will look good on the football league show. Wonder if south stand will be away fans only again.

I don't think it will be in the first year we go down (if we go down); as I think most will renew. However if we fail to come straight back up then it would make sense for the south stand to be fully away fans as some bring huge followings and the revenue will be superb. That been said its all been set up for the Premier league. The away fans would have to enter the stadium in two different areas unless the fence segregating the home and away south stand smoking areas can be removed.
