I'll take his word for that, and if Indi as well is ready and fit for Leicester, is it possible to try Butland
Johnson Indi Shawcross Pieters
Zouma Badou
Bauer Shaq Jese
Chop
Grant Staffy Cameron Allen Crouch Ramadan Tyrese
That shoud add some steel and pace in midfield. I haven't seen Tyrese play yet but if he too can add pace and flaire, maybe he should have been given the nod?

Campbell has been more than impressive for the under 23s,don't see him on the bench though.

Proof, if any further proof were needed, that Lambert is just as clueless as Hughes.

Lambert thinks Fletcher should start games and that berahino can play the mama role.
With the greatest respect, I'd take what Paul Lambert says with a pinch of salt and a large dose of reality.

If we’re looking at 3 at the back then I’d go with
........................Jack...................... ......Zouma......Ryan.......Indi......... Bauer.......Badou..Allen.........Staff ............Shaq..............Jese........... ........................Diouf....................
Right now anything’s worth a try.

After what seems an eternity we have a settled back 4, please Mr. Lambert don't mess with it, stick with it. It's the MF and forwards that need sorting out.

Bauer is a fantastic right back.
So let's leave him there.

Bauer is a fantastic right back. So let's leave him there. First time I had seen Bauer for real yesterday, he's energetic and mobile but ball control doesn't look like his strong suit.

Impressive doing what though? Push ups? That jogging between the saucers thing? That's not going to win any Premier matches as far as I'm concerned. Although I guess if you're less than impressive in training then that can hardly be viewed as positive. Lap dog or not, Lambert has got to give everyone another viewing, especially after only handful of games managed. Trouble is we don't have the time to give every bit-part player a run out. Needs to pick his best team and stick with it. That means Saido, Johnson and co. can have a less-than well earned nap.

A training session is completely different to a Premier League match. Lambert seems as deluded as Hughes.
