That is huge.
Quick glance at the table tells you they are still in big trouble.
A dip in results due for them.

Don't make no difference. If we can't pick up points we are down.

What a sad state of affairs when the only good news that we have is when some of our opponents players get injured. Just about sums up everything that is wrong with this season. Given the piss poor performances of our millionaire superstars at places such as Man City, Chelsea, Spurs and countless others we probably deserve to go down.
Some more great news....,I understand one of the Brighton mascots has a severe bout of flu 😡

This is what it has come to. Nothing against the original poster but when you try to find solace in another club’s key player getting injured for you to stave off relegation, it’s time to pack in.

Big blow for palace. They didn't win a single game without him when he was missing earlier in season.

Palace are 5 penalties for and 1 against (+4).
We are 1 penalty for and 3 against (-2).
That 6 penalty swing between us and Palace is probably worth at least 6 points.
If we can somehow get past Brighton on Saturday and Palace lose at Goodison Park we will move 1 point ahead of them.
Lots of 'ifs' but it would be heart warming too see them back in the mix.

Big blow for palace. They didn't win a single game without him when he was missing earlier in season. Apparently they haven't won since 2016 without him in their side! Just been on Talksport.

24th September 2016 last time they won without Zaha in the league and that was against Sunderland.
Massive blow for them.

Palace have a very difficult remaining fixture list, particularly over the next 2 months, so arguably they won't miss him as they would have dropped points anyway.
We need to get sufficient points over the next 2+ months so that by the time we meet them we are too far ahead of them for the result of our match with them to make a significant difference.
