Anyone going to watch this. I don’t know if I will as it’s late and need to go to work in the morning.

Cooks or Ertz getting the first TD is all I care about.

My missus is from just outside of Boston so I've spent a few months in New England out of every year since 2012. Dead lucky that my adopted team turned out to be the best in the league - helps a little watching the Pats win on a Sunday night after an abject performance from Stoke the day before too Tough game tonight

I'm watching it. Don't like skys coverage - not much for the pundits. Putting up with it for now and at 11.15 swirching to BBC for Chappers, Osi and Jason Bell

Never watched it before & just had a watch of it from the start. Really don't understand it or get the hype over it all. Seems very stop start too.

After last years disappointment as a Falcon’s fan , I’m rooting for the Eagles. Good game so far (1st quarter)

If those last two TD's for the Eagles were given for the Pats we'd never hear the end of "the referees being for them"
Great game though.

Heard that the halftime show was shit Yeah, I thought it was shit, I'm not much for Timberlake anyway but they usually put on a good show anyway - Lady Gaga was brilliant last year and I'm not much for her either, so yeah this year was shite.

Timberlake was pretty lame but his Prince tribute was pretty cool as Prince was from Minneapolis where the game was played and performed arguably the best half-time show ever including his own giant silhouette. Just one guy with one guitar and a couple of dancers. Nice. Plus a 200 piece neon marching band I suppose.

He became a runner crossed the plain of the line and for me the motion of his dive starting as an upward motion so he wasn't going to ground as a receiver.

The refs let them play and tried to stay out of the limelight as much as possible. I really enjoyed the game. 2 teams giving it 100% and going all out for the win

I thought the game was fantastic, despite being on the losing side. End to end, the most yardage in Superbowl history and was constantly on a knife edge.

lots of rumblings that the XFL relaunch from Vince McMahon will leave the NFL behind in terms of being more spectator friendly, a catch will be a catch etc, faster games the works

I saw the McMahon do the launch last week and on every tv show / sports talk radio it's basically been ridiculed ever since

I wasn't in the US in 2001 for it's one and only season. The thing that the NFL has is fantasy football. It's huge and keeps people interest in games they would not normally watch. The XFL won't have this. And NFL is really not any less popular now than in the 9 years I have been here. Trump trying to spin it any other way is complete bollocks.
