We are playing five of those teams before the end of the season: Brighton (h), Soton (h), WHU (a), Palace (h) and Swansea (a). The way we are playing these are only games where we have a chance of picking up points. Anything less than four wins and draw will not be enough.

With so many teams on for the drop it'll be a relatively low points total needed to stay up I think, 35 might be enough. Not that I'm convinced we will reach that.

Assuming Huddesfield and WBA are going down, there are 8 teams in a battle for 18th. Our GD is at least -12 worse than any of the other teams in that group. So we need to do it on points, unless we really thrash one of our rivals, which is not likely.

Huddersfield are on the same number of points as us so we shouldn't assume they are going down. I also think it is too soon to write off West Brom. It is only about 3 weeks ago that everyone was saying that Swansea were down. Things can change very quickly.

It's anybody's to win and it's anybody's to lose. For example Swansea have today lost two players for the season. If we can keep our defense, Joe and Baido fit then we've got a chance.

Only looking at the last 3 games (PL's reign so far):
We have 4 points; as do (in the order they are in in the current League table) Liverpool, Chelsea, Leicester, Everton and Brighton.
Burnley, Watford, West Sham and Crystal Palace and Newcastle all have 2 points
West Bromwich: 1 point and Huddlesfield: none
[Everyone else has more].
Just saying that we are gaining ground on a few teams ... albeit very slowly.
