21000 Saturday matches 12,000 night matches People wont put up withe ground logistics at night in championship. 50% less season ticket holders for this reason.

Looking forward to it. Good, competitive football away from the cesspit that is the Premier League.
To answer the question...23k average if we challenge at the top end of the league

My opinion average crowds 16 to 18 if we are lucky, loose approx 8000 season ticket first season, away teams average attendance only 2500,

To answer the question...23k average if we challenge at the top end of the league Now we've got better financial backing than last time we were in the championship we'd be winning a lot more games than we'd lose and like you say proper football matches without the bollocks that comes with the PL. I actually don't think i'd be too disappointed once i'd got over relegation.

I'm not sure. I'd hope that our extended stay in the top-flight would mean we wouldn't come close to returning to some of the embarrassing crowds we've seen in our years at the brit. I'd like to imagine we would still average about 23k, but I also think the whole south stand would end up going to large away supports once more.

About 18,000 if we're doing well..14/15,000 if we aren't.
Whole of the South Stand for away supporters.
4/5000 away followings from some clubs.
Virtually none from others.

I think it would be a little higher than the last time the club were in the Championship tbh.

The bigger concern must be the finances isn’t it? I believe parachute payments are now around £90m over three seasons or £30m per season which is roughly 75% drop in the current money from TV and media contracts. Even if players have relegation clauses in their contracts there will be many who do not want to stay to play in the championship on vastly reduced wages. That will create the biggest problem for the board.

IF (and I still don't believe it will) the worst happens I believe we would near sell out the first home game as most of our "new fans" will expect us to roll over teams. When the reality sets in about just how competitive the league is and how difficult it will be each and every game we would be looking at around 22k.

if we start well and fight for promotion, I don't think attendances will drop to much below 25000. If we continue to struggle, it will soon drop to 15-16,000.
