I'd like to think that Lamberts now had the chance to evaluate the squad. We really need to get fit for Brighton because this is a massive game. Player for player we're better but our fitness to keep going for the full 90 is key. For me I'd go with ...................Jack................. Bauer.......Ryan.........Indi.......Eric ...................Geoff................ ..........Badou............Allen........ ..Shaq..........................Choupa.. ...................Diouf................ Cobham exactly my team too

Must win, as with every game we have left frankly.
For me I'd be tempted to play,
Butland
Bauer Ryan BMI Pieters
Badou Zouma Shaq Allen Sobhi
Choupo
Little bit of a mad lineup I know, but we need pace and physicality in midfield and Zouma is the only one who could offer that frankly, along with him being a tad ropey at centre half recently.
Sobhi defends very well and I'm shocked he's not come on as a sub recently, criminally underused this season in my eyes.
Up top we have shit options, it's as simple as that, not trying to get someone in when we had the chance in January is simply criminal. I'd give Choupo another chance there personally because he's fucking massive, mobile and isn't really fit enough to do the defensive work he needs to do on the wing. I also really rate him on the ball and he's just a good all rounder, I'd like to try him as a false 9. Diouf the safest option mind.
We're shit, the board can fucking do one, but I'm happy clapping and backing the lads till the end of the season and waiting till then to have a proper moan. Right now the only option is to support the lads, and give everything we have as fans, whatever we may think of the manager, team or owners. At the end of the day it's our club, whoever runs it.

The problem we have with working out why players aren't being picked, is that we don't know how good (or bad) they look in training. Or if they have any knocks ... and yes if I was the manager I would give our opponents no clues in press conferences - 'everyone is fit raring to go' (even if they had lost a leg).
Ireland may still have a part to play in our great escape.

Do we have to play Zouma? If so, its a disgrace.
I'd play BMI, he's our defender & I wouldn't have Zouma anywhere near our midfield, so he's benched.
I'd play Adam, solely because he's one of v few players we have that will put himself about. Of course he would need to be replaced after 60 mins due to arse hanging out / likely to be sent off.
Choupo has had enough chances, so Sobhi in & Diouf back up top with Crouch consigned to sub forever. Berahino in the expensive flops pile now with Wimmer & Imbula.
It really is slim pickings for PL.
Butland Bauer Shawcross BMI Pieters Allen Badass Adam Sobhi Diouf Shaq
Subs Grant (I'd actually be tempted to stick him in) Zouma Cameron Fletcher Chopou Crouch Jese (Get him back or terminate contract)
No stafy unless pieters injured.

I'd like to see Ramadan given a start. I really don't know why he can't seem to get a look in. Not overly bothered who starts up front, maybe Diouf would give Brighton's defence more trouble than Pete?

Ramadan's getting the outsider treatment even though he was assisting and scoring this season, shocking waste of a gifted young fit player. Almost criminal.

I think we should go out swinging with a 4-1-4-1 and plenty of licence for 1 of the centre mids to support Diouf up top. We HAVE to win to have any chance of surviving in my opinion, so lets go out on the front foot, run at them and bully them into submission.
Butland
Ryan BMI Bauer Pieters
GCam
Allen NDiaye Shaq Sobhi
Diouf

Sobhi and Diouf in for changes and we should be able to press and annoy them to win at home. There is no way about this match, it isn't a must win it is if we draw or lose we are done in the PL only hoping on the frailties of others which is bleak. There needs to be a bear pit alamo feel about the atmosphere almost like Pottermouth's battle cry.

Just looked at their stats this season: » they are ranked 3rd for headed clearances - so (unlike Bournemouth who let in lots of headed goals) not a game to cross it to Crouch (not as Plan A anyway). » They have scored 3 own goals and cleared the ball off the line 7 times - people need to follow up our shots - and have kept 8 clean sheets » We have similar nos of yellow cards » They have scored 3 penalties - as ever no daft tackles » Surprisingly, our shooting accuracy is better than theirs.

Brighton will watch our second half performance from yesterday and know exactly what to do. We have absolutely no chance of survival with this sorry bunch What's that? Tiredness? That we can't play a 90 minute match, once again we lose after being ahead, and once again as the game progresses we become a total shambles and lack leaders on the pitch who can manage a game. We will give Brighton plenty of chances next week. But even if we beat them, we are never going to pick up a win away in the following two matches which is what we need. We are completely fucked, if anything, the last two games under lambert have made me feel far more disillusioned than anything under hughes because I realise that lambert is clueless, and we have a useless shower of shit playing for him. All of those who participated from the hour mark onwards yesterday should be ashamed of themselves

I think this is the one that will either bring hope or confirm our fears . We have to win . I expect it to be similar to Watford in that they will take a point so we need a plan to break them down.
