After tonight's performance and looking at some of the other results, I'm very worried how we can escape the drop. I think Huddersfield are dropping like a stone and I think they're a certainty. I can't get myself to think that the saints or swans will go down. Bournemouth should be safe. West Brom have looked very decent in recent weeks and I can see them get a few points in their next couple of games. Palace and West Ham don't look like they're in too much danger. So that leaves us with Brighton and Newcastle.

Me too mate. I think the owner missed the ferry this season. not from the point that we are in relegation trouble with several others but why he thought 4 years ago sacking Pulis was because we needed to move on and in fairness we have achieved fuck all in the last 4 years culminating in a desperate plight at the start of February. We wont get back easily.

Think we will be one of the three. The pricks on the board left it way too late.

Worried but not hopeless:- Huddersfield - def Brighton - prob Newcastle WBA (i expect a rally and pull clear) Soton and Stoke to just about survive, while being crap. Gap to the next worst team. N Diaye will bring energy. SO missing. Can see us stumbling on a new formation that just about manages to get by. (God knows what though!) Butland Bauer BMI Shawx Stiffy Zouma Allen N Diaye Diouf ECM Shaq

It's still too close to predict but I think somewhere along the line we are going to have to get some points against the big six.

Was really hoping Swansea would be dead and buried by now but they've taken 6 points from two top 6 teams we are in a huge battle for survival

We need a big result like other teams around us are getting. A win at Bournemouth would do the trick.
We have to start picking up points away from home

Is this what we're going to get every time we don't get 3 points?
It was a poor game but there's some absolutely dying for us to fail. Fact.
Pathetic support.

Fucking overpaid wankers

Lots of ups and downs to come. I'll go with
Hudersfield, Brighton and West Brom. If we carrying on playing Fletcher we'll be at risk.

Us, Brighton, Huddersfield.
The board had 31 days to prove they wanted to stay in the premier league.
Can't you tell they own a betting company by gambling on our status.

WBA, Huddersfield and Brighton for me, but we will be there or thereabouts, 16th or 17th, maybe a point or two clear (I pray) - it will be tight.

In the next 20 minutes everyone will know what they have, in terms if players and probably managers (possible exception being Southampton, but can't see anyone else gambling and saxking their manager?). So it is then a 13 game shoot out between at least 10 teams!
Whoever fails to hold their nerve, and makes most errors will go down.
If Lambert doesn't get a grip on our lot really quick then I fear we could be one of the 3 along with Brighton and Huddersfield.
Hopefully he gets us in some sort of order and it is Newcastle or West Brom who take our place and drop instead

This is what is going to happen whether we beat Man City 6-0 or lose 1-0 to Bournemouth. People on here and in the ground tonight are genuinely concerned about the future of our football club...... We care about our club. Fact

The biggest worry for me (and I know its only two games in) you still simply cannot see us beating Liverpool and Arsenal back to back like Swansea or even drawing at home to Spurs like Southampton and as for going to somewhere like Chelsea and winning three zip (even when the stars align with their nutcase, want away manager, giving up the ghost before kick off) there isn't a fucking chance with this side, sadly.

Swansea and two others.
Huddersfield and Brighton look most vulnerable.
I’m still worried about us.

3 have to go down, beggars belief when folk on here say 'we'll be fine' after tonights performance we are one of the three, quite possibly on goal difference. The new guy to replace Fletcher, Jese to spark and Saido to burst onto the scene could make me eat my shorts!!!
