Hope this achieves the desired outcome but fines of 500 quid, that's laughable, less than 1% of some of the players weekly salaries

Good. Standard work place rules really apart from the eating together.
If I kept turning up late and pissed around on my mobile don't think I would be in a job!

For this to be news then this must have been lacking under the previous manager. Speaks volumes.

Kind of backs up the rumours that in the end the average intensity of training under Hughes was something like this

Arrive by 0915 NO MATTER WHERE THEY LIVE ! Is Peter Crouch on his way ?
Totally agree with a new manager stamping his authority.

Hope this achieves the desired outcome but fines of 500 quid, that's laughable, less than 1% of some of the players weekly salaries From £500 If the fine is for every time you are late it could add up to a fair sum over a month if there are a few players constantly late. Also if the fine is from£500 they may be working it out on the % of each player's salary. £500 could be the low youth players

How much do want our players fined for using a mobile phone or turning up ten minutes late for training? Ten grand?

Good on him.

He has an apartment around the corner from Victoria station in London I believe and travels up by train so he’ll be on the commuter train now fighting for a first class seat 😆

Hasn't crouch been spotted at stoke station at 8.30am the last two mornings?
7am train out of Euston daily.
Long day for a footballer

The amount of the fine is irrelevant it's the message that's important. I'm sure the Club aren't thinking of it as an income stream, a way of recouping a bit. I'm sure they hope it won't need to be applied.
Focus.

I've often wondered, what do they do with the fines? Do they get put back into the club's kitty or do local charities and/or schools benefit?

Good for Morale too with them eating together. Makes you wonder just how easy they had it under Hughes.

I have no idea on lamberts philisophy or tactics. I assume we will find fault and split like pulis and hughes.
Short term no bollocking beats an angry weegie bollocking and this is what the team need, good on him.

It’s not your money being fined and you aren’t the one receiving it. They could be fined 5 chocolate buttons for all I care as long as it gets them working for the manager.
