I suppose the only answer to that is to did real deep into my childhood and the start of the legend that was Gerry Anderson. I've been practicing the no hands pistol for years =)

The Magnificent Seven. Is this possibly the best one ever?. Set the bar extremely high there chuffed. Ain't it a 'theme' tune though? I still like this...

Good call Cheees, I was going to post this as well Remember watching this series on school holidays back in the 60's. Just googled this joint venture between Yugoslav and German TV and ran from Sept 66 to Feb 67 with only 13 episodes, (and hundreds of repeats back then). There was another series called "Flashing blade" from France, and Robinson Crusoe also France which padded out many school holidays in the late 60's - can't find the music for them though. Just found them on youtube. Thinking of these after all these years really makes me feel old. Much more innocent (or just plain boring ) pastimes in those days !

A lot of the Bond themes are mint, obviously. Not only that but a lot of the John Barry incidental stuff is great too.

Well sticking with the western theme I have to give this a mention. I blame my music teacher Mrs Caddy she convinced me I could play violin like my Dad at the age of 10 despite his best efforts Mr Boothe who I'm sure some of you remember well only got me to pizzicato. Made it worse when my daughter became a competent cello player, made me realise that Izal and a comb is the right instrument for my talents.
