Moi? Citroen 2CV Dyane 6. 602cc, 8 years old, rusty as fuck, but I loved it. It was a bit of a babe magnet, as well. Girls thought it was cute . It never let me down. Sold it on for a Triumph Spitfire. Absolute lemon

I started a "First Car" thread in September 2016 but it only got a couple of pages.
My first car was a Vauxhall Viva 1300. Didn't keep it long and changed it for a Mk II Ford Escort.

G reg Mini 1000. Floorpan was rotten as fuck and when the roads were wet the whole floor used to feel like a sponge. Only kept it a few weeks.

Triumph Herald. Soo many problems with it but nothing you couldn't sort out with a lump hammer. I have a Herald now, 1968 convertible in dark green. Looks mint. And drives well. Treated myself to it, always wanted one.

A 2003 Vauxhall Corsa SXi.
It survived more abuse than Elizabeth Fritzl, I shagged my ex missus in the back of it and never cleaned the mess up, then my mate spilled KFC beans all over the top of that.
It also did 90 absolutely everywhere, and it got to Derby and back with a water pump that had cracked clean in half without exploding, and I had several noise complaints from neighbours because of the sound system.
It’s somehow still on the road somewhere, i’ll miss it.

Mini van. I drove it dry of oil and seized the engine. It seemed to be a habit of mine at the time. I did the big end on my motorbike as well.

Treated myself to it, always wanted one. Class. From the age of about 13 I wanted my first car to be a Herald Convertable but it was never to be (I had a Mini like most of my age) and I don't actually think I've ever owned a Triumph, although they were always my fravourites as a kid and as a grown-up kid.

The finish being when it burst into flames and was completely gutted. Nice to drive though.
