Brighton have confirmed the club-record signing of PSV forward Jurgen Locadia for £14.1m.
The 24-year-old has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal.
The Dutchman has scored nine goals in 15 Eredivisie matches this season to help PSV reach the top of the table.
----------
Reckon he will be another failure from Holland or any good?

1 in 3 in Holland.
Not brilliant.
Maybe 1 in 4 or 5 in the Prem?

No we won't , with the high probability of us being in the Championship next year I can't imagine we will play fast and loose with the finances, if we are to sign any 'big hitters' it will be loan deals only.

14 million on a player, is he any good enough, time will tell.

Says all we need to know. Newly promoted team spend £14m on a player with a good record. After 10 Years in the league we’ve spend £12m on a failure...
Palace could spend £30m on Benteke. Proven record and they are smaller than us.
Good one Carto

I still remember when we dreamt of having a £1M player in every position! How times have changed I say!

The first question is will we buy (or loan) a new striker? And if we do, will they be proven in the Premier League (and currently out of favour or crocked); proven elsewhere (e.g. Germany, Scotland etc) or 'hungry' (from the Championship (Walters-esque)).
As I've said elsewhere, the price is irrelevant - what should count is whether or not they improve the team and if they score goals.

I remember signing Locadia and Dybala on FIFA years ago.
Replace Carto with me if you want Coatsey.
