I've always parked near Heron Cross with my Dad on match day. Of late my Dad is starting to struggle walking back to the car after the match, due to a heart condition. I've suggested parking near the ground so it's only a short walk for him. I'm just wondering where's idea to park and how much?

All the parking at the warehouse car parks (first turn off after the A50 bridge) costs around £6. I used to drop my dad off close to the ground and park up there; then he would wait for me to be picked up after the game. Trouble is, you would take between 20-40 minutes getting off there to pick him up. As it was, because of his heart condition, my dad would walk very slowly and the timing kinda worked.

I guess your Dad's health takes priority over a swift getaway, so why not go for one of the official car parks? Not sure about North, but I think you can get advance tickets for South car park - but they don't take cash on the day Won't be quick to get away though. Other than that, Power League is pretty close to the ground...again, probably take a while to get away (£5 I think) Best of luck for your old man's health
