He should definitely be on the bench, being a striker is all about confidence and he must have bucket loads atm. This! If he is in form and full of confidence then chucking him on for the last 15/20 minutes can’t hurt, even if he doesn’t make it long term a run in the first team could see a goal or two and change our fortunes. I would rather see him on the bench than Berahino

Subbed at half time to be saved for the bench tomorrow? Picked up an injury He already looks like a first teamer then

Ngoy was decent last year that merited his step up to the first team, he's since been in a purgatory state not been allowed to play with u23s or enough minutes with the senior squad.
I like the look of Campbell but if he gets minutes before Ngoy we might As well let him leave.

It’s no different than Liverpool throwing in a young Michael Owen or Man Utd throwing in a Rashford or Wellbeck, or some of the ones that don’t work out too. I’d love to see us give an 18 year old who is on fire a chance rather than the same plan that has failed all season. NGoy deserves another chance too but he didn’t really step up to the mark last time, although he was out of position

That’s a problem too, I remember Shotton under Pulis when he played him as a right winger, he got slated on here poor lad - he never chose to play there I’m sure. Put him in his right position and I think he could have succeeded here as a squad player.

Decent performance today and may do more with better players around him. Given way too much time and space for his second which wouldn’t happen in a better league, took his chance well though.
Shenton looks to need too much time and space and others are starting to look better than him.
I think if you saw more under 23 games you wouldn’t be clamoring for them to be given the step up.

Love PL to get his balls out and call him up to the squad. He's got confidence in his ability too, I tweeted pretty much the same thing as above and he's dropped a like on it. Get him in there.

Just noticed on Stoke's twitter feed, there is no Campbell in the U23 game tonight. Anybody know if he's training with the 1st team?

Won 3-0, I thought that team would get steam rolled against a bunch of blokes.
Leek away now.

I'm presuming that he's way, way off the standard at the moment (quite a way behind even Ngoy in development terms)?
But are we in a needs-must situation where we begin to think about getting him on the bench?
Hard to see how he could offer less than Berahino?

I’d sell Crouch in the Summer and bring those two mentioned up.
