Wasn't used last night, has it been binned? Hope it has to be honest... Asked the same question last night - apparently the officials 'decided to not use it' I didn't realize this law was at the ref's digression. The FA have come out at the start of the season and said we have to use ABBA as if we don't it creates a disadvantage for one of the teams... so last night they didn't use it????

Nothing to do with the ABBA penalty system but as Chelsea had 2 men sent off and the score was 9-9 (ie, everyone of the Chelsea remaining players) who would then take the next kick for them? Just my thought but surely this would give them a advantage as Norwich would probably only have their least favoured penalty takers left.

Norwich have to nominate 2 players to sit out of the shootout. Could say that's an advantage for them if they have 2 club footers in the team.

Wasn't used last night, has it been binned? Hope it has to be honest... I guess they figured that whichever format, the winner still takes it all.

I wonder if they gave it that name deliberately, knowing that any attempt at criticism would quickly devolve into this
