Same lineup as United for me, except Diouf up top for Crouch, Stafylidis in for Tymon if fit and if Pieters is still out, and Ryan in for Zouma if fit. Same team but changing 3 hehehehe

Butland Bauer Zouma BMI Staf Cameron Ireland Afellay Shaq Diouf Choupo That’s a weak mid 3 energy wise, Cameron with recent injury’s along side long term injured two. Not for me. Don't disagree with that. Allen is the only one we do have to give that energy but just feel he runs around too much an gets everyone else out of position. Feel like Cameron and Afellay could sit in front of the back 2/4 and shore that up while Ireland pushes forward. Of course Cameron and Afellay would be kinda wingers so not ideal. Just something that might fit better than what we had been doing. But then again it's a reason I am not a football manager!

1-1 Huddersfield are equally desperate for points and Lamberts philosophy won't have fully landed yet. New players need time to gel.

I remember the first game under Hughes and how the ground was eerily quiet and uneasy for the first twenty minutes or so as the players tippy tapped it cautiously inside their own half. Took ages for them to look comfortable. Most of the people around me, having been used for better or worse, to Pulisball, were saying WTF?
Then, I felt that the football led the crowd; this time, perhaps we should lead the football with lots of bearpit noise and blood and thunder.

I would most definitely settle for a boring 1-0 win, confidence, need the points etc..but convinced the boys are going turn it on in a very noisy stadium.
Stoke 4:0 Huddersfield.

Can't see him actually leaving Fletcher out, when it comes down to it. He'll come in from the outside with big respect for him and be oblivious to his recent shortcomings Think he'll probably go with Pieters ahead of Staffy too?
He's certainly hinting that he'll play Shaq as No.10? He'll probably be wowed by the big name of Zouma over BMI too. (but hopefully not Johnson over Bauer)
So maybe:
Butland Bauer-Shawcross-Zouma-Pieters Allen-Fletcher Diouf-Shaq-Sobhi Crouch
Personally, think I'd go:
Butland Bauer-Shawcross-BMI-Staffy Allen-Cameron Choupo-Shaq-Sobhi Diouf

Interesting stuff on Talksport from Dean Ashton. Discussing Lambert's falling out with Ireland at Villa. Ashton said Lambert's known for being ruthless, known for changing his teams regularly. "At Norwich they never knew if they'd make the match day team, I know some of the lads didn't like that."
Interesting to see the starting line up. Go on Stoke.
Scotch in the hipflask, lamb shank when I get back. To the bus and beyond!
