Some people saying they are not sure whether he can make it in the premier league or not. Well, those were the highlights from ONE game in the PREMIER LEAGUE for a 19 years old foreign kid who just came from some league in Africa.
Found the video and remembered the excitement and buzzing we had for the lad last season.
Unfortunately instead of improving regressed badly under Mark Hughes. but lets hope the new manager can turn him into the star he obviously has the potential to be.

Yes he is. Needs coaching though on shooting and when to release the ball though. Absolutely dead right he's good enough.

A decent coach should sort him out, that also goes for a few of our underperforming expensive purchases.

Bare in mind he’s 20 years old. He needs a good manager who can develop him and coach him properly. I wouldn’t be surprised if under Mark Hughes he was instructed to be conservative and keep the ball rather than go past players. Either that or his confidence has been absolutely shot.
I know he played against poor opposition at Coventry, but he was frighteningly good. Showed great skill and pace to beat players time after time.
If you remember Eden Hazard when he first burst onto the scene for Chelsea at 21, or Raheem Sterling 3/4 years ago. Both showed similar signs to Sobhi and needed coaching on the final decision making, look at them now. Ramadan can be the same with good coaching, I think some overlook how good he can really be for us going forward.

There is a highly talented player in Sobhi, appoint a decent coach and we're going to have a very exciting player on our hands.

Of course he is, he's one of the shining lights at the moment. He's 20 years old and doing well, give him a break.

Sohbi - Massive talent being very badly coached is my summary

Very talented player...just needs to be coached how to go for the easier option and put a cross or a pass in once he's beaten a man, instead of going back to try to beat him once more!!!

Interesting how young Tom Edwards hardly gave him ( Mclean) a kick a few weeks ago and, he was substituted
cant see it happening myself
unless Benjamin - you were trying to wind us up ?
As For Sohbi - proper coaching at a proper football club and. there's a top level premier league player in there

I've seen him beat a man. Good player, needs coaching and needs to improve decision making. All of that can come.

Definitely.
Can't see the reason for asking the question, unless it is to spread the doom and gloom.
I don't think he is quite good enough to play for one of the top 6 clubs and if he went to one of them it could be a mistake and end up spending his working life sitting on the bench* like so many do, and then "losing it".

I don’t rate him at all. Ok he can beat a man but then tries beat him another 3 times. Very poor decision maker, poor at crossing, poor at shooting. Runs like a crab.... actually even slower though.
I’d love be proven wrong by the lad but I just do not think he is good enough

Yep quality player, with work and dedication he will be the Egyptian Juan Roman Riquelme.

Half decent player, excellent at passing backwards like Hughes wanted, no pace whatsoever, needs a good manager and fitness coach

I thought I must have been going mad because I said after the Coventry game how good he was only for everyone to seemingly tell me he had been shit. He was the only one last week who said “I’m Premier League and you’re League Two”. He has bags of talent, is definitely good enough and just needs someone to give him advice and confidence.
