Mentally weak does that mean they lack "BOLLOCKS FOR A FIGHT" ? On the evidence for the majority of this season almost certainly, mentally weak, physically unfit and totally lacking the motivation required to get us out of the mess they all collectively have gotten us into. We will see if they were playing for Mark and his team in the next few weeks as some have claimed, to me they looked as if they were not as a whole manager team and all should hang their heads in shame thank god they sacked the idiot manager pity it was to late.

Why does he always try that stupid half way line shot? He got lucky at Chelsea. If I was the manager I'd take him off for doing it.

Does mentally weak include trying to make ridiculous passes in you own half directly leading to goals against? Stoke City footballers should stay out of the media until they turn the season around. Their words are totally empty. Ah, that old chestnut. He'd have been better off taking a slow ponderous touch and passing sideways or backwards wouldn't he? In that instance yes he would. Next.

He's the only one who's looked like he give a shit lately and the only midfielder we've had who, when played, has even remotely looked like getting us on the front foot.

Need some Army training, what a pathetic squad we have this season. Joe Allen only 1 with fire in his belly!!!

I do like Charlie Adam. Seems like a decent bloke. But we've all heard the right sort of noises coming from other Stoke players over the previous weeks and months, and yet we still witness a wank fest on the pitch. Words don't count for much if you can't back it up with action in the form of victories.

Recruitment issue and the scouts need to be more thorough with player research. We sign talented players who should be better than they are in the hope for a bargain, we coach whatever it is out of them and we have a superstar on our hands and here lies the problem. The reason they don't reach their potential is because they are mentally weak and also the reason we are in the position we are. We miss walters and whelan despite them not being good enough, they have something many of our players don't and that is a never give up attitude.

Well said, Hughes was a big problem lately but players have responsibility too.

You almost have to hope they are mentally weak and that can be fixed by a couple of good results. The alternative is that they aren't good enough and the platitudes being wheeled out about "we need to do better" are unrealisable!
