An interesting rumour that I’ve heard this from 2 different people today one associated with Stoke and another who’s just an acquaintance. Stoke are chasing a Jamaican international central defender who is 2 caps short of getting a work permit but is almost guaranteed this caps this summer. I don’t know his name but we were supposedly linked with him last year and he a friend of Demar and Ricardo

The only "news" about this story is that the Sentinel have decided to describe him as a defender when he is usually played as a midfielder for Jamaica. Not sure how you can call something a rumour when TP has admitted he wants to bring Rudi Austin to Stoke, when he has spent weeks training with the club and when we had a work permit turned down last year and stated we would reapply when he had played a few more International games. Good old Spidey - finger on the pulse as usual. ;D The fly in the ointment could be that Jamaica's International Ranking has slipped (due to lack of games) and is now well outside the top 75.
