No, would rather wait to get the right man in before the crucial games after than get a stop get in ready for a pounding

That would really be awkward wouldn't it? Yes we could. Nothing in the rule book requires a team to have a manager. Perhaps you have hit on something. We can just chant instructions from the stands!

Quite possibly. The other issue is that it's another week wasted in the transfer window.

Some people would say we haven't had much of a manager for most of the season!

I think we need a new man ready, if not necessarily in charge for the Utd game - the new man needs as much time as possible to prepare the boys for the 6 pointers against the likes of Huddersfield, Watford and Bournemouth

He will be sat in the stands nailed on football cliché Yeah I go for this. No lose situation, win and we can credit new manager syndrome. Lose and we can say well the managers not had time etc

I’d rather go into it without a manager than with Mark Hughes, so I don’t think it’s a problem really.

I don't think so. No manager in the world could get us anything from that game so no manager at all isn't going do any worse

Well if we go in with Bilic we may as well go in without anyone, it's about the same level of quality

Yes we could. I'd rather that than a knee jerk appointment.
0-0 it'll finish.

There's a good chance of us keeping the score down now we have no manager!!!

It's possible but not likely. I think we'll have a new gaffer before Monday.

It wouldn't surprise me at all. Don't forget before the Newcastle game, the club were saying "nothing to be worried about". That translates into "we've not spoken to anyone right now". I also suspect that if we've been successful at Coventry, again the manager would have stayed. Therefore 5 days to find a manager? Yep maybe, but if Rowett/ONeill are one of main targets then, no. I can't see it happening so quickly. Knowing our previous dawdling appointment regime it wouldn't be shocked at all if it's after TDD. Annoyed, but not shocked.

I think if the manager is in place this week the United game is a bit of a free turn. The season starts for the new guy on 20th v Huddersfield They also then have 11 days to work with the squad before Watford

My concern is how we are going to sign anyone this window without a manager. Who would want to come to a club with a complete unknown?
