In the Navy, we had a guy on our ship with the last name Butt. We all called him Harry. I still don't recall what his real first name was.

I once worked somewhere that had a customer called Dr Hug De Waal.
There was also a 'Suki Dock' which was one letter away from being hilarious.

I've worked with a former prime minister, Harold Wilson. He always called himself Harry.
I've also worked with an American outlaw, Jesse James. It's a more common name than you might think.
And does anyone remember the late, great Larry Grayson's cast of characters? Everard, Slack Alice, Apricot Lil, and so on. Well one of his characters was called Michael Bonaventure. Well one day in the office I was introduced to a new recruit. Mid 30s with blonde hair, wearing a cream jacket, brown cords and a flowery tie. The gaffer said George, I'd like you to meet Michael Bonaventure. I could hardly contain myself because he was just how I'd imagined Larry Grayson's character all those years ago.
