His philosophy sounds very much like that of a modern-day Lou Macari. That would suit us perfectly, I reckon.

The more I read about Rowett, the more I like him. I think he's what we need in the present, and an upwardly mobile manager with a good future ahead - hopefully both him and us.
Then again, I'm in the camp whose dream appointment would be Dyche.

No prem experience or overseas league on a par with the Prem. No experience of handling superstar sulks like Shaq. I doubt he has any knowledge or contacts of players outside of the UK. A look at his team and its virtually all UK. Players at the top level are very sniffy about the manager their play for. The first question would be Gary who? At least Hughes had the status and players joined because of him. Would be an enormous gamble. The only advantage I can see is that if we went down he at least knows the championship....in fact that's all he knows

<deep sigh> He's a hoofer isn't he? Go on then, bring him in... No mention of "waiting for something to drop for us in the box...." which makes me think he's just a dilettante at the this long ball malarkey.....

Decent that However, its painful as we won't get him because we can't be arsed to get him despite him being a good choice. Instead, we will lack ambition and settle for a manager not with a club Ala Lambert, 'O'Neill or Bilic. Painful SGS
