Good article in The Times, and we get more than a few mentions. Big issue is allowing U18's to have Bet365 on the shirt... www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/news/elite-football-clubs-lure-child-fans-into-gambling-n6wnlxp5sI can really see a time when all gambling advertising in sport will be banned, won't happen straight away, but will go pretty much how tobacco advertising went, and then alcohol will surely follow. Personally makes no difference to me, if I see a shirt with Bet365, or 888, or any other gambling company I do not instantly think I should place a bet, but I suppose it is about brand awareness.

I do think in next few years there will be a big change in what and how clubs are allowed to advertise gambling.
Regarding the under 18 situatuon, if a player under this age is playing in the first team shouldn't he be wearing the plain shirts without bet365.

At 16 I was drunk most nights,(and hopefully laid) had a bet often and smoked like a chimney. Worked as a man like everyone else of my generation.
There was no Bet365, not many men drank nats piss (larger) it was bitter or mild on tap. Or the usual bottle on Newcastle Brown for me.
If you like something you will find a way of getting it.(except when you're married of course)
We need to stop treating teenagers as children and educate them as young adults aware of life's distractions not blinkered from them.
