So PSG have agreed to pay his huge wage bill for the rest of the season ? Sounds highly unlikely. They don't have to agree. If he's broke the T&C's of his contract then we are absolutely entitled to terminatw it. Is that the suggestion? I hadn't seen that anywhere.

I pissed myself at that "ambition" video when it first came out, and now I feel like a complete knob.
I hope the club have also learnt their lesson and don't do anything like that again, incredibly cringeworthy in hindsight.
Sort of like when I told this bird I had a massive penis and she said "show me then". That ended horribly as well.

They came on here asking for links to what talksport had said and there were plenty of people warning them at the time that they shouldn't do it but they didn't take any notice.

Should have happened months ago
Deal should never have happened in the first place from how I have understood the situation

Wish nothing but well being and health for his little one.. but as harsh as it sounds right now my stoke city don’t need people (baggage) like Jese.
See thee

The signing made sense to me, we needed pace, he had pace. From what I saw of Jese I did not see a man with pace. He tried on a few occasions to take full backs on for pace and always came up short.

Presumably the contract includes stuff like turn up for training, be at ground on match days etc. We obviously gave him compassionate leave at first, but I'd imagine a conversation was had along the lines of, we need you here, but appreciate you want to be elsewhere, let's sit down and thrash something out. Sure we didn't want to dismiss him for non performance but best for us (cash), him and PSG (gets game time elsewhere) to agree to move on

Good, why pay a player that will hardly ever play for us?

Again though not a very well thought out signing by the club knowing his child was very ill or did they because his head was never gonna be on the job here.
Crazy signing

100% the correct thing to do.
Best of luck to him and his family.

As Ian Wright said on MOTD last night too many players have come in from big clubs with Big Reputations. Often these players get let go because they can't perform consistently for whatever reason and it has cost us badly . I just hope he is the last and that the new manager signs players who want to work and be part of the team .

Be funny if his goal against Arsenal ends up being the difference between staying up and relegation.
