Should free up 70k a week wages which we've been giving him to stay in Spain.

Thanks for the arsenal goal at the very least.
All the best to him and his family.

Shame. He showed some quality and I'm glad we're trying to find top class players. Hope all works out with his child, can't blame him for wanting to be home.

Bye bye, won't be missed. Looked like a Great player unfortunately too much baggage in a season where we needed him, family comes first however, a shame really.
good luck Jese.

Hopefully an end to this sort of signing. We’ve tried a lot in the past 4 or 5 years and bar Arnie it simply hasn’t worked.

So PSG have agreed to pay his huge wage bill for the rest of the season ? Sounds highly unlikely.

Similar to Hughes sentiments really. Started off like a house on fire, looked like a match made in heaven, but it just wasn't to be. Thanks, go home, sort your kid out and I for one hope you make a real success of your career. So much untapped potential, just didn't work out, for obvious reasons.

Very unfortunate, but his young child is quite rightly his one and only priority, hope everything works out well for Jesse and his family.

Link from as on the other Jesé thread - the loan has been terminated and he is set to go back to Las Palmas.

Nothing to do with us if everyone agrees to terminate the loan. Wouldn’t surprise me if some arrangement has been reached with the player himself over wages simply to enable him to be in Gran Canaria with his son and Las Palmas.

So PSG have agreed to pay his huge wage bill for the rest of the season ? Sounds highly unlikely. Not necessarily. If his contracted has been terminated I would imagine PSG have agreed to it and a loan to Las Palmas or wherever has also been agreed. I suspect Stoke have agreed to take a hit but we’ll never that level of detail will we?

Wrong signing, wrong time. Can't blame him at all for not being committed to Stoke with the situation with his son. And he scored the winner against Arsenic on his debut.
Good luck Jese, hope your boy comes through and be fit and healthy enough to see his old man rediscover his best form.

I can’t believe there’s knob heads on here knocking the lad. Clearly a good footballer with unfortunate personal problems. Blame whoever signed him, they obviously did some brilliant research on his personal circumstances before signing him up.
Transfer team out!
Good luck Jese and fingers crossed for your son!

JESE WANTS LAS PALMAS RETURN
Jese Rodriguez has left Stoke City and is edging nearer to a return to Las Palmas, reports Marca.
The Spaniard, who joined Stoke from Paris Saint-Germain on a season-long loan last summer, has been released from his loan contract at the bet365 Stadium.
Jese wants to return to his boyhood club Las Palmas, where he spent part of last season on loan, and the La Liga club want him back in their ranks.
He is surplus to requirements at PSG and is expected to complete his temporary switch to Las Palmas soon.

He seemed like such a great signing as well.
As usual with us though, it all turned to cobwebs.

Good decision for all parties. Frees up some wages for us. Let him get back home to be with his family.
Great promise with goal on debut, but unsurprisingly considering his family issues did not materialise into to the player he had the potential to be for us. I know if one of my kids were ill I wouldn't be able to give my full concentration to my work especially if in a different country.
Let's hope things work out for him and his family

So PSG have agreed to pay his huge wage bill for the rest of the season ? Sounds highly unlikely. They don't have to agree. If he's broke the T&C's of his contract then we are absolutely entitled to terminatw it.
