A just giving page for a business that should have the required insurance. Also the fact that it does pretty well and not just on match days, I’m sure they have the money.
If I’m donating anything it’s to a charitable cause that’s far more in need.

Not sure if this belongs in this forum or "everything else" but lots of us know Kay on the Oatcake Boat really well from matchdays so I figure people will want to know. There was an accident at Etruria earlier today while they were trying to remove some wire from around the propeller. They ended up taking on 3 feet of water in the front section of the boat and very nearly sinking it, from what I hear. Some of Kay's friends are rallying around and trying to be helpful and a fundraising page has been set up to try to raise £200 to sort some of the immediate needs www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/caz-collinsAdmin feel free to move (or pin) this as you see fit. Nearly everybody will pay cash on the day for the Oatcake’s etc , so I assume they pay all the correct tax to the tax man , and keep none back , if they can’t afford £200 then they are in the wrong business

They're all a bit err...unique in Bedworth Have you met the Bulkington residents yet? Or is Bulkington considered the posh end of Beduth? Hate to generalise but Beduth and Bulkington do have a bit of a rep which they struggle to shake off. I have only met one person from Bulkington, when I was in the RN, he was 'a bit different'

Why do people need to be so nasty and bitter. It's no business of any ones how much they earn or how much tax they pay. You've been asked if you would like to help a worthy cause - part of the club in an unofficial way - if you don't then fine but why take pleasure in some one else's miss fortune. They are a lovely couple who would help anyone. Those on here with no empathy are probably the same people making toxic atmospheres at every game with Hughes out banners and boos. And some one suggested a supporter take over on here?? Some of our fans are a disgrace and couldn't care less about stoke city FC unless it involves glory days at Wembley or jumping on the premier league bandwagon. Do us all a favour and stay away if you don't like what you see and let us that want to help the club we love help get it back on track.

Can't remember seeing the Boatcake during our Championship Days.
Must make a small fortune now we're in the Prem.
I can think of far more worthy causes than donating money to a business that associates itself with Stoke City to sell food.

I don't remember seeing half the glory hunting fans we have now when we were in the championship ?? So your point is what ??? What relevance is that to the sad accident that has happened??

How much do you spend wizard? And with a small fortune to be made doing it- why don't you start one next to it? Must be enough business to go round with what your saying? Work 1 Saturday every 2 weeks and the odd night game and then spend rest of time counting your fortunes?? Surely you'd be up for that as you say they make good money!

I can think of far more worthy causes than donating money to a business that associates itself with Stoke City to sell food. Really? A small fortune. If they sell a cheese oatcake for a quid, less ingredients, amenities, licence(?), tax etc they will be lucky to make 50p. So that's 400 cheese oatcakes just to make 200 fucking quid
