It's a fuckin good job the idiot rested half of them at Chelsea what the fuck would the stats be if he hadn't, also pretty much put's to bed the theory they are still backing him to lead the team.

Without reading it is says we ran about 6k less than Newcastle? Does that mean the term "Gutless Journeymen" sits comfortably with the team? Seems to me that there are clearly some players who do qualify for that award.

No shock here. We know the players don't work hard enough and they aren't fit enough. Don't need stats, you can see it with your own eyes!

Seems to me that there are clearly some players who do qualify for that award. Seems?? I’m so so disappointed in the attitude of our players over the last few weeks. I’ve often pondered about how these players would react if they ever set foot in a pub and just sat down with a few stoke fans just to listen and understand what it means to pull on the stoke top. I mean really listen to how their performances effect people’s weekends and work week. To get to listen to some of the older fans to understand the heritage and feelings that run deep in the city Most of these tossers wouldn’t even know who scored our winner at Wembley in 72.

It proves the players are either not fit, not motivated or utilising a system that requires little running.

IF the worst outcome occurs, are the players contracts set to see a big wage reduction if we were to drop down?

Well we know Adam and Shaq cant run, Wimmer I think brakes into a canter once in a while, so the remaining players did well to only be 6k behind Newcastle, Butland covered more ground than Shaq.
Seriously though I know most managers are stat mad, I get the impression Hughes maybe not so much. But he needs to be looking at this piece of information and acting accordingly, we need some young, fit and hungry players in the window. We were knackered after 60 mins against Newcastle - we have to be able to compete for 90 mins if we are to have a bit of hope

Would the Sentinel dare to publish this kind of thing if they thought Hughes might stay?

It's things like this that get you angry. We had this exact same lack of dynamism in the midfield last season.

If you want to see an example look at affelay, fletcher and adam in the chelsea highlights before their goals.
They are barely walking around. They look like pub team players after a heavy night out.
They are a fucking embarrassment.
I'm fucking fed up of it.

A symptom of our slow build up and sideways passing. As I said before it was astonishing to see Tom Edwards blowing after every foray upfield. The team, apart from Joe Allen just don't look fit, or willing to cover the ground.

Been saying this for months and don't need stats to prove what can be seen with my own eyes. The level of our fitness is a major reason if not the main reason for where we currently are and why we've had so many drubbings. Really is inexcusable.

Lazy players. Lazy management. And with the ridiculous delay in getting rid of Hughes, it looks like lazy owners. Only TP can put this right. Lol, one can only admire your loyalty to the man. He's never ever coming back march, never.

They need a real Fitness regime that will make them work until there bodies cant physically take anymore sounds brutal but its what they need i feel hughes is too friendly with the players and they have it easy in training

This has been obvious for a long time now . We have plodded along and the game has passed us by as coaches like Pep, Klopp and Conte have influenced the league .

Seems a bit unfair to drag Berahino into this. He woulda run a lot more if he’d started. And, as we all know, his runs are things of beauty. If we can’t have goals, at least let’s all watch Berahino make runs.
