It's not an issue for me as I'm an exile so I only get to a live game a couple of times per year but I suspect that gates could be down significantly, particularly if there is no change of manager.

I will still go but if we look like we are dead a buried I may just buy a ticket for the games I can make as may be cheaper than a season ticket because there is no way I will make the many Tuesday night games
And anyway we will be able to sit pretty much wherever we want. May be interesting to try different parts of the ground again for different games

I think Sunderland's average attendance dropped from roughly 41000 to something like 26000. That's a loss of about 45%!!!

My decision will be based on enjoyment/fight/spirit as opposed to which league we are in. What and not whether you actually support the club? Whether I renew or not has no baring on me supporting the club (as I have done for over 40 years). I can put the £50 a month (I pay for my sons ticket too) towards something else such as a contribution towards his Uni Living costs. If the club put up some fight I will continue to be there week in week out, but with the current malaise, I’ll choose which games I get to (there will be plenty of seats).

If you have to think about this question without having to consider cost, health or distance then you may as well leave the stadium now! I am a Stoke fan who can afford, have good health (fingers crossed) and live local so there is no consideration necessary I will be renewing my season ticket whatever happens as I am a Stoke City fan! Simple 😊

Obviously, everyone will but I will leave it until last minute unless Hughes has already gone.

I will be. We can say goodbye to the plastic cunts only here for the good times as well. Harsh but honest.

Not an issue. Still loyal still proud and still a supporter. If we do go down we get more games hopefully for the same money.

I wont be renewing i find night games a right bind, even more of them in the championship. So will pay the majority of Saturday games and a few more aways.

I wasn’t going to last season then caved in and renewed a few days before the season start.
From what I’ve seen of this season it’s doubtful but, it all depends on our owners next moves regarding manager and transfers
Be fooked if im driving down the m6 for a third season of half arsed attempts of playing football

Or more to the point who won't? Gouranga. I will be. What league we're in doesn't affect my support for the club I got my 1st ever season ticket as a 16th birthday present - it turned put to be the Holocaust season Had one ever since. Expect large numbers of people bleating and telling the world why they wont be renewing.

At the moment I feel like I could happily give it up, but I think that I know that turning my back on 4 decades of having an ST will be difficult to do. Also, I have gone to the match with the same mates in all that time, and I really would find that part of the match day ritual difficult to walk away from. But the football really isn't selling itself to me at the moment.

I've never had one and I've been attending games since 1980. I'm sporadic and will go to whatever game I can make whatever league we are in. However if I did then I would I reckon. If you are in the position to be able to attend every home game like a lot of people are then it's through the love of the club surely. Otherwise why spend the money at all. Season ticket holders are the lifeblood of the club. Through thick and thin. I've always respected that. You just go and watch stoke because its in the blood. I would imagine most who bleed the colours, can afford it and have no other issues like work/money/health etc would renew. It's just what you do isn't it.

Of course I'll renew. Either I will get to see Premier League football again or be with a band of brothers & sisters who, like me, will support this club through thick and thin.
No brainer

Yep, but I'm struggling to convince my lad. He can get a season ticket with his mates at Man City for 200 notes, and have a night out in Manchester every other weekend. Glory hunting twat😢 Not sure it's "glory" he's hunting after the match But then again it's been a long time since I went hunting

I’ll be renewing but I really couldn’t blame people for not renewing considering what’s been served up this season.

Expect large numbers of people bleating and telling the world why they wont be renewing. Exactly. People saying this is the worst they've ever seen. Don't get me wrong Hughes needs to go, but people also need to remember Little, Kamara, Ball, Paddon etc. People who are saying they won't renew as this is as bad as it has ever been, they are the ones who all of a sudden May 4th 2008 became die hard fans for life.

Been going for 55 years. Seen relegation before and will probably see it again. The Prems been fantastic at times. Shit at others. But I’ve had great nights out at Rochdale Mansfield and many other far flung corners of this country
So yes. I’ll renew. And if we drop again next year I’ll renew again as well

Weirdly, I'll be more inclined to renew if we drop.
We might get the sorting out we so sorely need and a kick up the fucking arse.
For the cash we spend we should not be as utterly wank as we are. Heads need to roll and the club may need to get a little worse before it gets better.
So... maybe.
