If I had to second guess the board
I think they would like Paul Clement
British and will tighten us up defensively and get the lads to defend as a team
Absolute guess , based on their rhetoric ,but my guess would be Paul Clement , six month contract

I’ll be honest I have literally no idea who we may be able to get.
The ones I reckon might be realistic really don’t inspire me, the one that excites me the most and I feel like could possibly be attainable is Bielsa and you never know he might turn imbula into a player again.

I would like to see anyone of:-
Brendan Rodgers - Doubt he would leave Celtic Andre Villas Boas- Underrated and i think we could get him Ronald Koeman - A good manager who was very unfortunate at everton. He signed decent players they just didn't click Mikel Arteta - The style of football we want at this club would be a cert under him, a very talented and intelligent footballer and working under pep can't be a bad thing.

Is that true????? Another bollock dropped on the contract front then! He signed his contract extension in the spring of 2015, just before the heady days of Liverpool 6-1. It really wasn't a dropped bollock. Fans were happy with the news at the time. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, I guess, but from today's standpoint it does not look too clever....... We should congratulate him on negotiating terms at the high point of his tenure.

I presume we’d have to interview Sol Campbell so he doesn’t cry 🙄

Forget Tuchel. He's nailed for the Bayern job in the summer.
Persons looking at promotion to the Belgium top division with the King Power groups other team.
Dyche won't be considered even if we could get him. He was never a serious contender for Everton at all, there's some open secrets in the footballing community about him that mean he won't ever get a top job. And probably won't leave Burnley for a long long time.
Every other option is toss.
This is what you have done Peter Coates. Well done you, must be very proud how 'cute' you cunt bags are.

I almost wonder what’s the point. To get past 40 points we’ve got to win 7 games of our remaining 16. The warning signs have been there for ages and Coates did F all.

Tell us more about Dyche? There's something quite unique in that Burnley team, unlike any other club. This coupled with what a few players he moved on have said about him make him a pretty hot potato for most chairmen to even consider giving him the opportunity to manage their array of international talent.

Hughes signed a 3-yr deal, didn't he? Think he had been on a roller - but he's contracted until 2019 What's he on (aside from valium)? I've seen some comments stated we need to pay 6.5M to get rid but then other threads in the past stating he was only on around 800k/year? The sums don't add up somewhere unless the 6.5M is the total for Hughes, Bowen and the rest (but even then sounds steep)
If we do go deep for a top draw coach (AVB, LVG etc.,) then we need to look at paying a min of 3-5M/year range - that's some jump if LMH current 0.8M/year is correct and one I can't see old man Coates accepting at all. We'll be looking into Poundland's window no doubt - so also rules out "Britishers" Giggs (thank god), Neville (most likely ditto), McClaren (I hope he's still so vain that he prices himself out of our reach - please), Rogers (no chance anyhow - he'll likely go the Saints once they get rid of Pellegrino), MON/Kean combo (thank fuck) etc. Its beginning to look like a dust-up between the likes of Pearson, McLeish & Lambert (FFS)

I think the story that we're low payers comes from that one dodgy list from some dodgy site that guesses at what everyone's on, with absolutely no evidence. I don't think there's any way Hughes is on less than £1m-a-year. I'd guess he's on similar to what Pulis was reportedly on at WBA and Palace (and here) - somewhere in the £1.5-2m plus bonuses (which are probably sizeable) which would put him in the middle of the pack amongst the smaller Prem clubs.

You are probably right FM. That therefore rules out a few on the wishful list who I suspect would want a lot more to come to us especially given the state we are in

A few million quid to pay him off and get someone decent in is small change compared to the amount we'd lose if we got relegated.
Imbula cost 18m and he's out on loan.
It's the least of our worries.
