The board...the players...the manager.the chief exec.. not us fans. Fuck these wankers who are at our club to make millions. Id rather watch us at forest with a team who give a shit than watch these cunts who just want money!!!

There’s at least as much joy from watching a decent Stoke team in a competitive Championship than there is being a Premier League also ran. I’d rather stay in the Premier League of course I would but I wouldn’t be as pissed off as some that’s for sure......

Our international fans would definitely lose out. It's fucking shit having to watch highlights on the Football League show because you can't watch the game and you can't listen to it on the radio online so you're stuck reading "live commentary" or the occasional side bit for 10 seconds on Soccer Saturday

As a match going fan then really you Dont lose anything but surely it's all about our pride in the club that represents our city ?
We struggled for 27 years to get back to the top flight - seeing us beat Arsenal and the rest of the glory hunting wankers remains sheer joy.
I remember in 85 we said maybe it was for th best - well it wasn't when you were one of 150 getting soaked at Cambridge and having the piss taken out of you I can assure you !

Premierships great when your teams competing and trying to sign quality players, now its just worldwide humiliation ,massive frustration and confusion

I don’t get the feeling we would be bouncing back anytime soon and then the ‘novelty’ of swilling around the lower leagues would wear off fairly quickly. It’s too fresh a memory for me to get nostalgic about it.

I really don’t want to watch that shit championship football anytime soon. It’s horrific. I’ve seen enough of us losing to wank sides

We do.
The Championship is the wankest league on the planet, I can’t bare the thought of going back to tredging through about 600 games a season just to finish fucking nowhere.

I think anyone who wouldn’t be that bothered about getting relegated has forgotten what a difficult division the Championship is. Look at Wolves, Wigan, Charlton - thought the league would be a breeze, relegated to League One.
Furthermore, there will be job losses - matchday staff, local pubs and businesses - given the inevitable reduced attendances.
We need to nip this shit in the bud now and stay up at all costs.

The people and the city of Stoke-on-Trent.
In the sea of shite that is Stoke, SCFC was arguably its most visible asset.

By the amount of empty red seats today a lot of fans or so called fans don’t care.

It’s too fresh a memory for me to get nostalgic about it. We wont be back in my lifetime. Its a sad but true fact...but on saying that I had some fantastic years (over 45) watching us all over the country and I'll carry o!!

The fans lose. The owners, the managers and the players are transient, the fans are the only constant. The club is the fans, the fans lose.

One positive is I'd be able to move seats away from the wankers around me now,

I have been a supporter since the early 60s . I have known difficult times . I don't think we have to relive the 1985 experience, if we are relegated . We consolidated under Alan Durban and that season we won promotion in 78-9 after 2 seasons in the old Second Division. It was an exciting time with Kendall, Richardson and Sammy Irvine strutting their stuff. I recall a great 2-0 win against West Ham on a mud patch of a pitch.
It require however that we were rescued by the manager who came from Shrewsbury Town .
I wonder with Hurst at least starting the season well with Shrewsbury that might turn it around in the long term. On a slightly more optimistic note?

A lot of jobs will be lost within the club , sadly not those responsible for carnage relegation creates

Sunderland are one of the current favourites for relegation to the third tier of English football.
