Went mental after their goal and ripped into anyone and everyone within earshot. Hopefully he got a few by the neck up against the changing room wall after the match as there’s plenty that need some serious bollocking. Seen a fair few head shakes from him as well when the shower in front of him messed up, he’s obviously not happy which I guess is a good thing, shame the rest don’t share his passion.
Sadly can’t see him standing for much more of this rubbish and I don’t blame him for not hanging around should someone come in for him in January.

There were more player "disagreements" today than I can remember for a long time. Shaq moaning in the first half on a few occasions and Berahino ripping into Wimmer were clear signs that our "team spirit" isn't all it's cracked up to be by Ryan and Bowen.

Wimmer is one of the worst defenders i have ever seen on a stoke shirt. I think he may be worse than sonko (villa away) But Berahino is not in a position to moan at anybody.

You've just reminded me of Berahino's pass that went straight out of play. He seemed to end up arguing with a couple of staff on the touchline afterwards ... lots of arm waving ...

We're screwing up his England career mate. Sadly have to agree. Gallows humour would say he’s getting plenty of practice in, but does a manager judge a goalkeeper on hw much ‘action’ he gets or just base it on clean sheets.

I know keeper captains aren't a straightforward option but one thing we should be doing right now, whoever the manager is by the time of our next Prem game, is making Jack skipper for the rest of the season. If one player can drive us there by passion and leadership (and being an excellent reader of the game), that man is Jack Butland.

His kicking/distribution is a big problem and it's a part of his game that seems to be getting worse not better, which is worrying. As things stand, his form is the least of our worries but he won't be going to the World Cup as our number one if things don't improve for him and us as a team.

At the end Butland got as far as the half way line. I presumed he was coming over to thank the fans in the Boothen but he obviously had second thoughts and decided against it.
As I saw it only Crouch and Adam had the guts to risk it. Fair play to both of them.

He was utter shite today. When was that then ? He was, to be fair. Al least twice he shat it about coming out to attack it, he made a proper ring-twitcher of a clearance and he belted it either straight out of play or directly to one of their players more times than I can remember.

That said, I love him to bits and I think he's fucking mint, I hope he stays here for years and cements his position as England's Number One here too.

Finally someone who says what they see, not what they want to think. He’s been absolutely fantastic for us but today he was garbage as Bayern says, some fans think he is above criticism. Hesitant on more than one occassion. Kicked it into touch more times than he kept it on the pitch. Another thing I noted, not Jack related but.. when Edwards played the ball back to Jack it was applauded and seen as the sensible option. When anyone who wasn’t born in Stoke-on-Trent plays the ball backwards the fans get their arses out. One rule for one and all that.

That'll always be the case when its one of the youngsters, its strange but they're judged completely differently, personally I don't get the people moaning at keeping possession tbh, sometimes, more often than not with us, there isn't an option to play it forward.

I get that, but it doesn’t make it any less annoying. It was the same with Wilkinson, he could do no wrong. I didn’t jeer any of the back passes I just found it pretty funny that when someone else played the exact same ball the fans started moaning. Yes I get that Edwards comes from Stoke, great, but fuck he me he’s not our lord and saviour, treat him like the others.

Respect for what he says but others r failing miserably It’s easy for him to say, he’s massively out of the firing line. Those in front of him can’t be arsed and this manager is as stale as it gets. Not sure how he didn’t get criticised more yesterday, he was wank. He said about a month ago that things will change, they’ll dig deep. Nothing’s changed, so what now?

I think a bit of perspective is needed here, Butland wasn't shite but he hasn't been at his best this season at times. His kicking has been poor granted and he needs some serious work in improving in this area but I think we need to give him some latitude on his throwing out and staying on his line at the moment for one obvious reason. How many combinations of defenders has Butland played in front of this season and how well has our defence played this season, gives us a clue, Goalkeepers don't play in isolation, they are part of a unit and when that unit is failing they stutter too. The staying on his line, which he's doing much more now is a result of an ever changing and poor defensive setup, he doesn't know whether to stick or twist for crosses or through balls and takes the safe option unless it's obvious no defenders are going to deal with it. As for his slowness at throwing out we rarely have any movement in front of him or anyone coming deep for the ball to collect it from him (who he trusts), it's something he needs to work on but lets face it one moment we are hoofing it up to Crouch the other trying to pass it around at the back, it all affects the decision making process. Butland is the least of our worries at the moment.

He certainly won't be playing under pep and time soon. He's really glued to his line on anything coming anywhere near his 18 yard box. Little through balls you'd think he'd be racing out yo command and help his defenders. Maybe he's gone into a safety mode of not committing himself to an error that might happen if he comes and misses, but it's standing out more by him staying on his line so much during the game

The worst part is I thought his kicking and distribution was his best asset when he first arrived. It was definately light years ahead of Begovic.

Just watching Swansea game and nearly every corner has been collected or punched by the goal keeper .our Jack hardly ever comes for corners this must be coached on him , I have always liked keepers coming for crosses ...ah well not the biggest problem at moment

Both were coached by the same person that coaches Jack. Sorenson is the best keeper I've ever seen under the high ball.
