I've always wondered why, for free-kicks, they insist on the wall being exactly 10 yards from the ball, when sometimes, moving back a few extra yards, would make it practically impossible to bend the ball around or over it. Not always, of course. Added to that, every free-kick taker practices intensley with a wall at 10 yards.
