I'm all for that in fact I'd go so far as to spin the wheel and say -
'Win and you get to stay to the end of the season' but the basis of the deal MUST be -
'Fail to win and you go now'
Do you feel lucky Les ?

It was always going to be a fucking shambles! H

If there are games against certain sides that we view as an automatic loss before the game has even kicked off then what the fuck is the point of being in this league?

I thought Hughes was particularly downbeat and slightly troubled when he was interviewed after today's game and had none of his usual bravado about him. His arms were crossed and he looked a bit shell shocked. Maybe just maybe he's not as secure as he perhaps thought he was? (Definitely no ITK by the way)

We pretty much deliberately threw that game today, but win on Monday and things will look different. Hughes in.

He should have gone after Bournemouth defeat - although that was only after failing to bin him off in May - Coates 100% to blame........no more last chances FFS

Injuries to Shawcross, Martins Indi, Pieters, and non availability of Zouma left us threadbare at the back. Leaving Allen, Shaqiri, Eric Chouppo, Crouch et all on the bench said to me we were not expecting anything today.
Monday is vital again.
I feel sorry for the Stoke supporters that went and paid £30 plus travel expenses for most. I hope the club may reimburse the supporters the cost of tickets.

(Definitely no ITK by the way) I agree- he didn’t want to be in front of the camera I still think he made the right decision in resting Shaqiri, Allen and giving Pieters the best chance of being fit for Monday Surely the management will keep him unless they have a replacement ready to take over straightaway

Resting players for a difficult league game in the hope of winning the next one? What is it with the people who can't see that as anything other than utter, retrograde, negativity-breeding management? IT'S FKING BULLSHIT.
