I know this is completely hypothetical, but would there still be the panic on here for Hughes / Coates / Scholes / Carto to go ? Would Coates be even more "what's all the fuss about" ??
I would think there would be ALOT more patience and understanding, and we as fans could MAYBE buy into the "handball this" or "Referee That" excuses we constantly hear: However, this discontent is surely justified regardless? How can the board not see this, even if we lost by closer margins.
Recruitment has been abysmal, if not catastrophic in terms of money wasted. The manager has stated a player he chased for years doesn't fit his system.
The players give up too easily
I'm angry about the inaction more than anything. ON and OFF the pitch.
Are we even improving at all? How can Coates be this numb to it all?
