After THAT 0-7 defeat at home in 1997,supporters at the next game (Bradford) didn’t take up their seats until the 15 minute mark. It was a televised game, and its point was to make a noticeable protest without resorting to a boycott or law breaking. and it made absolutely no difference. The only thing that the owners understand or care about is money as soon as the early bird season ticket renewal figures come in the scales will drop from their eyes of course by it's totally too late Yes that’s correct my friend, I was just recounting a similar scenario from years gone by. And yes, you are right about season ticket renewal as I believe it was one of the reasons TP got the shove. This lot will only listen if they think supporters will move on.

It’s pointless, the club clearly think there is nothing wrong. Every team which has changed manager (except the Baggies) have progressed so I can't believe that they see nothing wrong BUT to change means to spend money and there lies the problem- Peter the Miser doesn't want to do that

People need to see that Coates IS the problem - Hughes is just his puppet Has Coates been picking the formation etc?

Its laughable that people think that the fans have any sort of influence on how the club is run. We are along for the ride, the club will make money whether we are there to watch or not.

Alternatively you could support your team on Monday and try to cheer them on to a much needed victory? It's actions such as sitting on your hands and doing nothing that got the Nazis into power. Action is needed. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I don't even think the club actually cares about the opinions of the fans or what they do!
We need a potent method to show them that without us this club would be nothing!

Boycott the food/ale/betting kiosks in the ground - don’t buy a single bloody pie or pint or stick a penny on at the bookies. Let them rot and throw all that shit in the bin. At least that way you can still support the lads whilst making a point to the owners that actually hits them in the pocket. Take a flask of Bovril mind as it’ll be bloody freezing Boycotting food won't even make a dent in the pocket of Bet365, better off buying all the food available and throwing it on the pitch Some sort of food fight eh your just get thrown out or build a pie barricade in butlands goal to stop them scoring

Not much point really, he's obviously staying until at least the end of the season, it might be more constructive to just get behind the team and not focus on the manager at all.
Also, who would we replace him with at this point ? there is nobody, all the viable options are worse than Hughes imo, this is probably why Coates hasn't acted, now sam allardyce has gone to Everton theres no good replacement out there.

Action is needed. And the best post of 2017 appears, 54 million people died in the worst conflict in history, millions of Jews were gassed, whole nations fell, let's compare that to Mark Hughes tenure at Stoke city. Just watch the darts and if Phil Taylor loses start comparing it to the capitulation of the Roman empire. Jesus fucking Christ.

Not purchase a single away ticket for old Trafford
Why should stoke fans have to put up with another capitulation On second thoughts draw lots for the unlucky hundred who have to go just to stop the shit selling the away section to the Surrey prawn sandwich brigade

This will definitely work ...
Have a media campaign/ social media campaign to get all stokies to close their accounts with bet 365 in protest at the way bet 365 are running stoke city
Have a media / social media campaign as high profile as you can explaining stokies are closing their bet365 accounts in protest at the way bet 365 are running their football club
Banners all round stoke and on the internet " we want bet 365 out of stoke city now " etc etc
Make Bet 365 the focus of stoke fans discontent
I guarantee the owners will not want to run with high profile media/ social media based discontent with bet 365 for very long
And a change of attitude from the powers that be will occur
