Don't get me wrong , I don't wish it, I mean I'm going for heavens sake and I'd likely cry if we somehow scraped a draw.
But honestly even in that 1st season in the Prem when we went with our own version of Kellys Heroes to Alex Ferguson's all conquering Manchester United starring one Christiano Ronaldo and lost 5-0 I think I gave us more chance than this !

It feels like we haven’t got a game until Monday. That's how it feels to me except someone is going to give me a short, hard kick in the bollocks before we can move on to the Newcastle game !

I'm expecting nothing less than a 4-0 defeat.
Anything better than that will be a massive bonus. This really is a shit league to be in.

The disappointing thing is that we are nowhere near the time where we were hanging on to Rorys goal and lost at the death. I would love us to give them a game

Always a bonus game but the question is, do we have it in us to avoid humiliation? - which to me is <4-0

I fancy a 1-1 or a 2-0 win.
I never think we'll lose.

You see i suppose technically that League Cup tie where we lost 0-8 at home to Liverpool when we were a 3rd flight team was far less promising for us but I quietly fancied we'd put them away !!!

So did I based on the fact we beat them in a pre season friendly with a hoekstra wonder strike . That wa my last midweek game traveling up from London

I was more certain we'd lose when we played Man City away to be honest I was SO sure we'd lose to Man City away.....I didn't even sit up until kick off time at 2.00 am to watch it. That's the ONLY game I haven't watched this season. But I WILL be up tonight/tomorrow morning. Go the Potters

I'm expecting 4-0 at best but if Morata, Hazard and Co are really on form, and we "defend" like we normally do then I fear it could be another Man City size defeat all over again.

A back four of Pieters, Cameron, Wimmer and Tymon could be the magic formula that we have been struggling to identify all season.

The only hope you have of beating teams like these lot and Man City are to score first and then keep scoring. Nothing I’ve seen this season leads me to believe we have the resources or battle plan to make that happen. The best we can hope for is to come out of it with a shred of dignity.

I would take a park the bus 0-0 but can’t do this like we did under TP at Liverpool and Spurs to grind out results. My fear is that another heavy defeat will sink heads even lower for vital Newcastle game.

Same to you, mate
Lawn mower is still going strong - I just don't get my feet under it any more!!
Weekdays are bliss, indeed.
7.00 am here is just nice; I can watch the game on my phone (IF the shitty OPTUS transmission isn't TOO shitty!)
Final whistle is about 'clock on' time for me at work
I'm not it much of a mood during the day if we get beat, though
