Top man is Pejic and one of my all time favourite players
I cant see how anyone can dispute what he states. How refreshing that a guy who is a Stoke legend says it how he sees it without the club media interference
What a mess we are in
And well done Mike telling it how it truly is

Like another Stoke 'legend', Denis Smith, they are not names that readily spring to mind as the source of successful management insight.

Thats fair comment mate but like Suffolk says it’s hard to find fault with what he’s had to say of late

I thought Denis had a reasonable career in management given the clubs he was working with. Pejic was a tremendous player which gives him as much credibility as just about any other pundit you care to mention.

What the hell does his management failures have to do with his observations????????????????????????? They are spot on

Pejic's always spoke his mind and many on here in the past haven't always appreciated his criticism of Stoke. I've always felt he speaks from the heart as a Stoke City man and much of what he has said over the past couple of years has shown to be pretty accurate. Someone spoke about his football management credentials, they're not great but the fact that he has never been a 'yes man' may have hindered his progress in the past. As a footballer though he was top of the game.

I think this is the worse squad for depth since Hughes was appointed

Apart from his brilliant career and England cap , he's knows nothing about football that entitles him to express his opinions How dare he have opinions on football, top professional, England International, played at the highest level all his career, Stoke, Everton and England left back, professional coach, follows Stoke every week, he knows fuck all according to some no mark poster from the Us of A FFS some people need to give their oversized heads a wobble. I have played for Pej many moons ago and can tell you he has forgotten more about football than 99% on this board have ever known.

Marsh Smith Bloor Pejic. If only we had them now!

Marshy lost a contact lens once in a game at the Vic when they very uncommon, ref stopped the game while they looked for it, proper football with proper players, proper fans in a proper ground with a proper manager, we were pretty much all in it together then you really felt part of the club then. In comparison now we have sanitised football played by millionaire footballers who don't give a flying fuck about the club or the fans, we play in a lego kit ground built on a wasteland with a shit atmosphere and a manager who cares more about his shoes, watch and suit than managing a football team fit to represent our fans. I have vowed not to go again until Hughes has gone ! on reflection I might just give up on the money pit PL once and for all and watch some grass roots football at Macc. where an old mate of mine is manager.

If the owners have decided that Mark Hughes will remain as our manager this season, then they need to seriously back him with a much more realistic transfer budget that will allow him to compete against our rivals.

And therein lies the problem of their own making. The transfer team have been a shambles for a long time.
