Quite true.... Value for money is always given. A tour of the Oldham riots was included in the price. 😁😁😁😁

Stoke have always had a good rapport with Oldham lads, and Shrewsbury for that matter. England v Wales was a prime example at old Trafford a few years back

Someone I know was on one, the driver dropped them at a pub "20 mins" from the ground, they left at 2, driver took them to Oldham's ground! They got to the ground just before half time so they didn't miss anything important.

Yes 2 lads came in very late by me and told me this about ending up at Oldham, don’t think it was a club coach

In Longton snooker club earlier today and overheard a lad saying they did indeed get driven to Boundary park, then went a circuitous route to get to Huddersfield's stadium, eventually got into the game at 3:30pm...

Not much difference between Yorkshire and Lancs.
As a Yorkshire man once told me - “Yorkshire’s full of hills and moors, Lancashire’s full of mills and whores”.
Maybe the driver had heard this as well!

We went the "scenic" route!!Got to the game late in the past but never the wrong fuckin ground!!!😂😂😂 I went to Charlton a few years ago just after they moved back to the valley. Just before half time about 4 blokes turned up and sat by me I asked them why so late. They thought Charlton still played at Crystal palace and had even payed to get in the ground before realising we wasn't playing there😁.

All true. I was on one of the coaches with rambo61.
As he says never been to a wrong ground before.
Proper comedy of errors lol.
At one point when we getting back on track I thought the bus was gonna conk out trying to get out of Halifax.
At least we didn't miss our goal.

I remember years ago a bus was supposed to be taking us to an away game at Burnley, when we noticed he was heading towards Liverpool along a dual carriageway,we informed the driver who promptly crossed the central reservation and headed the other way. I'm convinced to this day that he was half pissed.

Its easily done. Once got the train to St Helens for the rugby in the late 90s and thanks to a clueless bus driver at the other end, ended up stood outside St Helens Town FCs ground.
