I thinks it's really poor how some of the players can't be bothered to come over to acknowledge the fans at the end. Fair play Charlie and Jack who do it time after time but today I thought it was poor from some of our lads. Really poor.

Given that on various occasions through the game, there was good support from our fans. Modern footballers. Just a well paid job.

Maybe the train episode has pissed a lot of them off more than some think🤔 Maybe some of them are embarrassed that the train episode highlighted the fact that many of them are pretty shit and they feel a little bit ashamed to applaud the travelling fans who pointed this sad fact out to them.

Well jack butland made my boys christmas so no arguments from me. I've just seen your twitter shared on Facebook 👍 If I was you mate I'd get a spirit level up on that painting. If it's level then your ceiling is fucked 😁

Perhaps Hughes divisive comments about performance and the fans have soured the players relationship with the fans.
Perhaps the club management lack of identity for the club and inability to emphasise the importance of the club along with our place in the footballing world have allowed us to be “just a mid table side”
Perhaps our lack of successful signings, lack of academy success have allowed other clubs to pass us by
Perhaps moronic media department tweeting that signing a failed player on loan as “ambition” shows just how out of touch the club is with reality

Normally these pair and Pieters that do When other clubs come stoke it seems most of their players go to their fans although this could have something do with the positioning of the away end

Surely the manager should have some influence over this. Mind you, he was the first one to piss off down the players tunnel after the Spurs defeat.

Let’s deal in facts he acknowledged the supporters after the spurs game and again yesterday He always points the players in the direction of the supporters as well. Our players, generally, are pretty good at that, particularly with the kids.

The fact some players do and some dont, points to their general attitude.
Surely they all know its a tradition in all football (not just Premier League) to applaud the away supporters for travelling on their hard-earned money.
We really do have a bunch of overpaid mercenaries at the club.

Has it ever been any different?
As far as I can remember it's always been the same, some players do it every game, some now and then, some don't bother hardly ever.

Some people will truly plumb the depths in order to find something to be offended by. And to blame Hughes for it as well is priceless.
