Another example of how these training sessions are not working. Injuries, players looking overweight and unfit, technically awful performances, low confidence. There needs to be a change.

Time for him to be replaced in all honesty. We can’t have this disruption for continuity of play. He should be rested for a while and rotated into being a sub like Terry was at the end for Chelsea.

He's never looked 100% to me since he did his back in at Leicester. Definitely got some significant long term issues there.

For how poor he's been it's weird to say that we're actually going to miss him. Does that not put it into perspective how fucked we are with Hughes.

Ryan now out, Zouma just back, Indi out and posters on here in August said we didn't need to sign Wimmer. And before someone mentions Muniesa he has been injured this season and only played 5 times.

Even your average Joe working class bloke struggles in his everyday job with back trouble, so how the flying fuck a top league football club thinks that it won't be an ongoing issue is anyone's guess.

Just play the Entire fit fringe defenders at Chelsea and move on to a huge game with Newcastle , Cameron has to be protected at all costs now and Zouma can’t play so that’s our front line pairing now and has to play v Newcastle

I thought it was his calf? Now I know it's over 40 years since I did Biology at school but I'm still fairly certain your calf isn't connected to your back.

Why don't we offer them a 2-0 win and a nice bit of Wedgwood and take the day off?

Throw all the bodies we have in to defence. Keep it down to 2-0 and move on. (occasional pot shot from half way by Charlie just for the ‘attempts on goal’ stats.)

I thought it was his calf? Now I know it's over 40 years since I did Biology at school but I'm still fairly certain your calf isn't connected to your back. Depends. If you have a pinched nerve in the right place, at the right level (Think it is S1 nerve root off the top of my head?), it can affect your calf. It can cause tightness, cramps and major spasms. I can only speak of personal experience here and not of Ryan's experience today.

He’s clearly got major ongoing issues, the fact that we’re continuing to play him and don’t have an adequate replacement could have serious repercussions on him when he retires from the game, shocking management.

The nerve root off the top of your head? Bloody hell that's even further away You know what I mean you daft sod. ;D Unfortunately I do know what you mean. I had sciatica in my leg which affected my calf right up to my arse. It was the most excruciating pain. Caused by a bulging disc in my lower back touching the sciatic nerve. I was out of action for about 3 months.

Ryan now out, Zouma just back, Indi out and posters on here in August said we didn't need to sign Wimmer. And before someone mentions Muniesa he has been injured this season and only played 5 times. Was happy last year to play the entire season with only 2 viable centre-halves, 1 of them was on loan. Had both picked up long-term injuries together last season we would have struggled, we desperately needed back-up and we got it, but not sure we should be giving him credit for just doing the basics and having 4 viable central defenders on the books, I for one did not criticise us getting another central defender in. Either way you look at it though - 18 million for Wimmer is a shocking piece of business Most of us, however, were dumbfounded that a 4th central defender was a priority over full-backs, you have to admit we are lacking numbers and quality in the full-back area, arguably we have 1 full-back in the entire squad that is anywhere near good enough at this level and no viable back-up for him. Hughes himself said when discussing the Pieters injury that we have no obvious replacement for him - my question to Hughes is why the feck not? Shocking, awful and downright bizarre management

They firmly believed and might still do for all I know that problems with your teeth had knock on effects elsewhere including hamstrings? God knows why, but Beckham said it helped with his. I think you can tell from the way Shawcross runs that his back gives him problems.
