Really want this lad to succeed. I can't believe a player who had such promise a few years ago, has lost all that ability.
I probably should, but I can't.

He talks a good game
This won't mean anything , unless you have been watching masterchef ...there was a girl on there ...Louisa ...who didn't win but threw everything at it . She was actually proud to come second . She showed that if you can't win all the time, then there is a way to lose
Saido needs to show her attitude on the pitch . Then , perhaps , he might get the breaks

Stick him up front with Diouf tomorrow.
Give shaq a free role.
Play three in midfield.
Fuck it, its as good as anything else we can muster.
Butland
Edwards Shawcross Zouma Pieters
Allen. Cameron Sobhi
Shaq
Diouf. Berahino

Cameron Sobhi Shaq Diouf. Berahino Zouma is probably out, same for Pieters,Adam struggling too. So back had to be Edwards, Shawcross, Wimmer,Tymon. Unless he plays Johnson. Horrific Or he could push Cameron in there somewhere I'd be happy with Fletcher in a three Could play Allen, Afellay and Fletcher Shaq behind Diouf and Saido

I'd like him to come good for us but what I've seen is a player that isn't very fast or physical, attributes which are pretty crucial for being a successful striker in this league. The only way he'll score goals is through excellent movement and positioning but sadly I haven't seen much of that from him either.
Needs another chance before he's written off completely though.

I'd love to say 'throw him in tomorrow, he'll be desperate to do well against them'.
But, having seen him as recently as last week, it's tough to do because he just offers so little, still without one above-average asset.
Mind you, Ramadan, Choupo, Crouchy et al are not exactly making a case either.
So, who knows?
I'm guessing it might be Choupo's turn again tomorrow, just because he wasn't part of the West Ham fiasco.

I'd be happy if we created a chance for him.
I'd love to be able to go home, as a starting point, and say "Crikey, how many chances did Saido miss today?"
I can't and I can't say that about any of our forwards, regardless of their attributes, ability, form or confidence.

Nowt like supporting one of our players eh?
I am more cynical than anyone when it comes to footballers words. But he made an effort to acknowledge the support he gets and points out he wants to get it right with us. And some of us still have a go at him.
GWARN BERA.

Good luck Saido but I fear we're pissing in the wind hoping you are the answer.

I'm still bemused why he hasn't been given a run in the side with another striker/forward? He linked up well with Jese previously but is easily covered by opposition defenders on his own, especially as our line seems to sit a bit too deep. Perhaps WBA is the perfect opportunity to get one over his previous club?

another striker to be added to the list who Hughes has fucked around
I think 'when' he is allowed on the pitch he does work and make runs, and I'm not sure about where people think he has got a negative attitude on pitch, have got this from.
I'd really like to see him in a 2 with Diouf up front for a full game

He has had chances to score this season and last, really could not understand this signing at all he wasn't fit, not been scoring, coming off the back of a four month ban, loads of bad press etc. why would anyone think he was going to be the answers to our goal scoring issues. Other players have been scoring even feeding off scraps he has not, Hughes obviously has no faith in him why is that ?

you,re so fucking toxic give it a rest man I am I wrong ! To be fair as much as most people are in agreement on the current situation of the club. You are possibly the most tedious and boring of all posters. Literally the same tiresome comments in every thread, your obsession to be heard is getting old. We get it, now go do something productive.
