This is what happens when you let a problem fester away. Hacks make mischief.
Wake up Peter, this is starting to hurt.
P.S Why is Hughes falling out with the Transfer team if they are all his signings?

P.S Why is Hughes falling out with the Transfer team if they are all his signings? Probably because they aren't his first choices. We seem to have a couple every window that come for talks and then go and sign for a similar sized rival and go on to do well. If you were in a corner wouldn't you keep beating them over the head with that I know I would.

So nobody wants Hughes, but maybe they do if we beat West Brom Coates wants Pulis Sholes wants some progressive (who the fuck does that mean Tony?) Hughes doesnt like Cartwright
The weird thing is IF Pulis were to come back it might lead to the removal of Scholes & Cartwright from the backroom staff.
I think everyones preferred choice is a removal of Hughes, Scholes, Cartwright but no Pulis coming back in.
No idea who we will end up with, we clearly have no plan in place

I think you’d find that in any business when things are not going to plan that all will not be sweetness and light in the boardroom. There is a debate to be had and if this is to be believed they are having that debate.

“SunSport understands there is belief the Welshman has been increasingly difficult to work with during his four years at the club and a change could be imminent.”
That is the least assertive thing I have ever read in a newspaper. ‘...we think that someone else thinks that at some point over the last four years he might be a bit different than when he first started ...can’t be certain, but we think it might possibly, perhaps, y’know, maybe something like that and they might want him to leave, maybe quite soon, but then again maybe not’
And to verify it all
“...Stoke club spokesperson has denied any knowledge of any issues at boardroom level before Saturday's game at home to the Baggies.”
Ever wonder the country is fucked up, with The Sun driving people’s opinions.

OK, let's all take it as gospel from a 'journalist' that can't even spell, let alone be bothered to correct, the word "toip" (sic).
More mischief making drivel.

If they are going to do this 'split' on who should replace Hughes thing it would be nice if they fed us a name or two as the non-Pulis option to conjure with.
Perhaps that is coming in their 3rd instalment of this story tomorrow?
I really can't see it being Pulis, even if you put the to one side the low regard in which he is currently held by many he is a man who has been so far from the top of his game at WBA in the last calendar year that it is almost laughable.

Scholes and Cartwright will know it’s the end for them if Pulis comes back.
Scholes has started having his Terminator nightmare again.

I can only pray the sun are right. About which bit? The Hughes out bit or the conflict in the boardroom re next manager choice bit? If the story is true it does explain why Hughes hasn't been sacked as yet.

So there all at war over a mark hughes' potential replacement?? wouldn't the final decision be up to peter coates?? IF he brought back pulis i could see coates sacking off scholes and cartwright or them both leaving on there own accord.

I tend to believe in the saying ‘there’s no smoke without a fire’
The fact that a presser has latched on to the potential of a hierarchical rift is interesting. It would indicate a potential lead or just outside confusion on WTF is going on? Either way, once the media get a sniff, the damage is done.

I don't ordinarily agree with scousers but the Sun is a shit rag and no self respecting football fan should ever read it again. As for buying it and paying the wages of the various so called journalists and owners to peddle endless tripe and bigoted nonsense you're better off putting your money in the charity tin on the newsagents counter. Ditto the Daily Mail.
