For a man who runs a gambling company he's coming across like someone who'd go each way on a horse. Pull your todger out man. Filthy old bastard.

Which suggests he thinks it would be reasonable to take action after the transfer window, Is he for fucking real? To be fair I dont think the transfer window will be a deciding factor. He wont be getting his dong out in this window regardless of who is in charge IMO. There is no dong. It's withered through lack of use.

I honestly think it is quite likely. If Hughes is still here he wont want to chuck money at a potential future sack-job, especially with his track record on big money transfers. One look at Wimmer will turn his dong into an acorn. If we have a new manager he wont want to chuck stupid money at him as soon as he walks through the door either...

Best squad we have ever had in the PL start of last season according to Peter , from the best to the worst in a season fuck me that is some achievement no wonder he is reluctant to sack Mark and his team.

So he'd think people would find it acceptable to be relegated in a season with well over £100M incoming and a negative transfer spend. His fucking memory has gone as well. Best he hires some body guards.

You (and others) pointed out at that time, more than once, that it was the wrong move and could leave him in a position where he does not want to back a failing manager. It has now come to pass. It's no comfort to have hit the nail on the head, I know.

He's gone back to his old self when he fucked the club up before through lack of funding, it appears that lightening is striking twice only this time he has provided funding but given it to an incompetent twat.

Not concerned too much with what is said in public. However having not sacked him today Coates has painted himself in a corner, he's effectively given Hughes till January at least.
Unless he has a manager lined up and there is some reason we have to wait it doesn't make sense.
Come January Coates has to back the manager (even if it's Hughes, even if his intent is to sack him in May)
Be a lot easier for a new manager to come in now than after Newcastle game.

He's looking at it one game at a time. Which means we may well be fucked. Which suggests he thinks it would be reasonable to take action after the transfer window, Is he for fucking real? Of course it will be after the window. If he got rid now no one would come in without reassurances they'd have cash to spend in Jan. the tight old duffer won't want that!

The "successful gambling company" bit seems a bit old to be fair. There was a time when bet365 promoted managers who could manage people, who had a spine, who didn't just say what would please those above them. Not sure if anyone who works there can verify, but that time seems to have died a few years ago.
EDIT - be sure youre anonymous if you say anythinng because as I'm sure you know, saying anything bad about The Company or The Management on a public forum gets you a disciplinary or a sacking.

Not too sure you can make out he's provided funding if he allows a negative transfer spend in a relegation season. Maybe after Hughes spunked £30 + million on two complete failures he doesn't trust him, alternatively maybe he believes with the money we have given to Mark and his team they should easily have enough talent to hand to beat the likes of Bournemouth at home.

The likes of Bournemouth who's manager has been given far more to spend than that. You can't seem to grasp the fact that Stoke are very low spenders compared to our peers. Your constant bitching about the transfer record is a complete red herring. Most of the outlay has or could have been recouped in profits from sales £22.5M on Arnie very strong rumours that we refused an offer of double what we paid for Joe Allen all of which would lead to a very acceptable loss on player trading, you're fucking obsessed and your constant ranting about it detracts from what an actually shit job of managing the football team that Hughes is doing.

"There's no fool like an old fool" tbf he has backed Hughes problem is he has pissed most of it up the wall, his biggest mistake was not sacking the incompetent twat at the end of last season simple.

Didn’t Hughes say in a press conference a couple of games ago that there would be very little if any activity in the January window?
