I can't believe that any other chairman would tolerate such a turgid amount of results over such a long period of time.Any other Chairman would have surely changed him in the summer!

He’d have gone two months after the Liverpool cup game.

He’d have gone two months after the Liverpool cup game. Not to get in the way of your agenda or anything but we were 7th in the league in the beginning of April in his 3rd season in charge. But as for the question raised by the OP, no I do not think he would've survived under any other chairman in this league.

They've obviously got a good relationship, and in a way it's admirable. But if he doesn't go in the next 48 hours we've officially entered Emperor Nero territory. Fiddling While Rome Burns.

He’d have gone two months after the Liverpool cup game. That would have been ridiculous. If you say that we should sack the manager after a poor run of form lasting 2 months then we would have two managers every season. Leeds Utd used to do that but it never worked for them.

I am not sure it will be enough either way magic, we look like Sunderland to me, no pace, general lack of quality, cant buy a win, players on big contracts who look total duffers. The only difference being we have the opposite problem to there managerial revolving door. I agree though, i cannot see with any rational how MH can still be in a job by Monday morning but it think he will be, at least my gut does.

We need to give MH more time we will not be relegated. Berahino will break his duck v west Brom next week and we will win 2/0

He should have gone after the collapse against 10-man Leicester last season.

Leeds Utd used to do that but it never worked for them. It’s how most Premiership owners operate. Not really. West Ham gave Bilic quite a lot of time. Ditto West Brom with Pulis. Moyes was given a year at Sunderland. Swansea do change their manager regularly but arguably had they stuck with Guiderlin they would be better off than they are now. There was no way that the Stoke board were going to sack Hughes while we were in the top half of the table. And nor should they. They needed to either back him or sack him last summer but they just let things drift.
