The return of Arnie was always going to get the crowd going...
... It now looks like the game Hughes has to save his job at Stoke.
I’d put money on Arnie bagging the winner on Saturday.
Saturdays atmosphere is going to be fantastically toxic.

Well our abysmal situation is really coming to a head and it is some time since I have felt so much dissent or even pure anger on the Oatie.
This disgraceful sequence of results and more importantly PERFORMANCES combined with the possible return of Arnie, known to many as THE SNAKE is adding up to what could be a very unpleasant atmosphere this coming week end.
My personal feeling is that WE the CROWD have a responsabity to back the team vocally and give our support.
However I fear that if things don’t go our way it could become quite ugly.
If the crowd turns there will be a media fest that could damage us for years to come.

The best reaction to Arnie.....No reaction. The ego of this man is off the charts he loves being centre of attention hero or villain. If we give him a hostile reception he'll bask in it and ensure he gives that extra few percent if we give him fuck all and treat him like any other player on the field it'll get in his head that we really couldn't give a shit about him and maybe knock him off his stride.

Well said that man, I think Hughes has lost it but we must give Arnie a real roasting and if Hughes is still with us back him and the team to the hilt.

What with Arnautovic coming back and our current state of affairs I'll be very surprised if it isn't a cauldron on Saturday. One way or the other.

Arnies comments about lack of ambition seem to be looking right. Somthing is very wrong in our club and it's like watching a slow motion car crash

All talk , apathy is the cancer effecting our club , it will be like being mauled by a dead sheep . Some 2 years ago decisions were made to accept our fate try and do the premier league on the cheap , and that complacency has destroyed the very fabric of our first team squad , and the clubs relationship with its supporters. we were as far back as August cast Iron certs for the drop .
we are now well set for a catastrophic drop as butland , Zouma , Shaq , Diouf and Allen are snapped up and we try and bounce on the cheap .
sadly while managers come and go those that orchestrated the catastrophe , disappeared from view on the 1st September distancing themselves from Any accountability , sure that the manager would take the flak and the owner try and support him
furthermore no manager on earth could save this bag of shit those in charge of transfers have created .

I can see it now
Slow start, West Ham dominate possession. Arnie opens the scoring. Celebrates infront of the Boothen cupping his ear
Fans run onto the pitch, brutally murder Marko. Match gets called off
We get banished from the Premier League and are forced to play games behind closed doors for 5 years.

Tough one, Zouma must be missing for a few weeks after limping off:
Butland
Edwards Shawcross Wimmer Pieters
Cameron Allen
Diouf Shaqiri Choupo Moting
Berahino
I have no idea if I’m honest.......

Butland
Cameron Shawcross Wimmer Pieters Fletcher Allen Shaqiri Jese Ramadan Diouf
I'd rather start Edwards and move Cameron into midfield for Fletcher but keeping Arnie quiet is a very tough task for a youngster and if he runs the game we're fucked.

That's exactly the team I'd go for, although I could live with Sobhi on the left.
Having said that, that would be my ideal starting XI, however of the outfield 10, I'd only really feel comfortable about Shaqiri, Allen and (possibly to an extent) Ryan in those positons.
Our squad is a complete an utter shambles.

Wimmer cannot start. Don't even put him on the bench then we can't be tempted to bring him on if someone gets injured.
I don't care who starts so long as wimmer and crouch are nowhere near the starting 11.

Please god not Kevin Wimmer.
We would have been better moving Cameron to Cb and Diouf to RB than bringing Wimmer on tonight.
Given the almost success of 4-4-2 tonight I am pretty sure Hughes will go for 3-4-3 on Saturday.

Arnies comments about lack of ambition seem to be looking right. Somthing is very wrong in our club and it's like watching a slow motion car crash Many things have gone wrong in the last 2 years. I remember December 2015, where we had glorious victories against ManCity, ManU and Everton. That was the peaktime of the team under Mark Hughes in my opinion and the moments where i thought, Stoke could be more than an average team. After that, the performance has decreased more and more. Hughes should have been sacked in Summer 2016.

It hard to understand how we got to this, I certainly remember leaving the last home game thinking Hughes would leave in the summer, the decision to stick with him my have already doomed us.
