So is anyone actually going to this one? Who's got tips for a first trip to Turf Moor? Inn on the wharf. Good pub, good food, free to park and a 10 minute walk to the ground and perfectly located for a quick getaway to the m65

If you get there early enough, you can park at the Cricket Club just up from the ground for £5 (or it was last year). It can be a bit chaotic getting off, but no worse than our car parks.

Stayed there a lot when I worked at Briecliff but last time I was there it was shut Used to be s great pre match drinking place It was turned into student accommodation for the UCFB students www.ucfb.com/ucfb-experience/campus-locations/ucfb-burnley/. It was a cracking boozer. The Queen Vic (the proper ale is freezing though) is one of the away designated drinking 'oles along with the Cricket Club. I'd be sticking with them two if I was a Stoke fan, what with it being a night match. If you are venturing into town and you can behave , then there's the Bridge Bier Huis (get there early as it's small), The Ministry of Ale, the Brun Lea and The Boot (both Wetherspoons but decent ale). The Inn at the Wharf was open two months ago and I haven't heard about it closing, but I can't give a firm answer on that.

As a rule I didn't think that they let away fans in (not been in for years). Although you lot don't have weird accents so it won't be obvious, unless you're dressed up like Pottermus that is.

Went last season, easy parking right in town centre (privately-operated, wasn't much to pay) - easy exit no delays. 10 min walk to ground, too late to find a pub

First time we’ve been accused of *not* having weird accents 😁 How’s the beer in the cricket club?
