Well I wanted to hear the Stoke fans give Hughes his farewell but Radio Stoke are so shit they've forced me to listen to Port fucking Vale, cheers you tin pot fuckers. For what its worth, he was getting it with both barrels on my stream. Good 👍 The players (majority anyway) don't deserve it but he has cost us getting a result tonight.

Great tactics NOT as usual by Hughes, taking off off Shaq but leaving the anonymous Ramadan on the pitch. We looked unfit in comparison to Burnley as well in the last 20 minutes. There cannot be a single reason why Hughes should stay surely? In Coates' book there is - he's on low waged

We were bang average, but the loss of a point is completely down to th manager tonight. All he had to do was what anybody else would have and he'd have an away draw in his pocket to use as ammo?

The players actually came out up for it but what can they do when the manager is so incompetent? Shaqiri is absolutely seething. Crouch didn’t really do anything second half yet he leaves him on and brings off our best player.

Utterly depressing, we looked okay for 65 minutes then our lack of conditioning hit us like a brick wall.
Shaq going off was puddled.
I feel for the lads tonight because they showed some fight.
Very hard to think Hughes can survive beyond Saturday if we can't win...

Bang on, he needed to be taken off, he's only good as a bean pole to lump the ball up, when we aren't doing that he may as well be on the bench.

Best they have played for a long time, didn’t deserve to lose but that’s what happens when after 70 mins you decide to hang on for a draw and take your most creative player off. Very very disappointing especially against Burnley who were awful and are siting 4th.. go figure

I honestly don't remember any manager having such bad game management as Mark Hughes. It's painfully obvious to literally everybody what was happening and what needed to be done but no he takes our best player off leaving us with literally no threat whatsoever on the attack. Fletcher can fuck off as well! Did the right thing by reverting to 4 at the back but his ability to change our mindset during a game especially when it matters in the last 15 minutes is truly woeful! How Coates can put up with this for much longer is beyond me and makes him partly responsible for not taking the relevant action and sacking Hughes and his stupid team! Exactly Fletcher should have been dropped he wasn't, should have been taken off he was a passenger he wasn't, this timid wanker takes our best player and most likely goal threat off for what?

Time to go.
But is there any fucking need for the hatred and bile on this thread?
We’re all sick of it. Pissed off.
But some of the posts on here? OTT. To say the least.

Ok. It has happened now. The majority of the fans have turned. Mr Coates should really do him the favour of relieving him of his duties ahead of the WetSham game. The fans will be in the mood for blood with Arnie’s return. The club needs to be united for this game, more ban any so far in my opinion, and Hughes on the sideline will make that impoywith so many wanting him out.

poor game which no one deserved to win. Think they just had a bit more confidence. Just shows the fine lines between success and failure. We made some good moves, but it always seems that we don't play the right ball or the players are ball watching and not anticipating where the ball will land.

I'm not buying this it was an "improved performance."
There's a massive difference between them and Spurs. Spurs are a top club who play to win and are relentless and will keep coming at you. Burnley are a side of grafters who try to kill a game and rely on set pieces much like we used to.
We were always going to have a lot of possession tonight but what did we do with it. Miss controlled, Missed passes, floated crosses picked up easily by the keeper, half hearted shots.
After Saturday I expected a real reaction of blood and thunder that was not what we got. Only Allen, Shaquiri and Diouf looked bothered.
Crouch should not start games as it makes us way to predictable and renders Shaq far less threatening.
Why he cant play 4231 I do not know.
He has to go.

Let's not try to kid ourselves - much more effort tonight and probably the better football was from us. But, Burnley are truly a shit side, absolutely shit, and we never really looked like scoring. As soon as they scraped their customary miserable goal, we were never going to come back from that. Shaq off for Choupo - you bloody pillock hughes! We did not create even one clear chance !! How can you say we plsyed the better football ??!!

Soft at the back toothless up front and slow in the middle other than that we are a smashing side. Coming from a usually positive poster, that says a lot. This is not a good squad, despite the hype.

Wimmer's presence fucked everything.
I'd love to blame it all on Wimmer because he's fucking wank but ultimately it comes down to Hughes spending 18 million pounds on him.

The players actually came out up for it but what can they do when the manager is so incompetent? Shaqiri is absolutely seething. Mate I could see him being off in January. He is not happy. A 'it's me or the manager' transfer request. Shaq is not that good. The bloke is limited. We need him until the end of the season and then he can do whatever he wants. I won't miss him...especially his mardy attitude. The bloke behaves like a 6yr old...it's wearing a bit thin with me.

OK, We showed some fight tonight, but the damage has already been done. We were fucked for the last 20 minutes, Sparky made his sub by rote at 0-0 when we still had a fighting chance of nicking it by taking off our one only creative outlet and, to top it all off, we neglect that far post for about the millionth time this season - its like Crystal Palace all over again.
The worst thing is, Sparky will almost uncertainly go back to his comfort blanket 3-4-3, pointing out we lost today

Awful game to watch. Hughes shouldn't survive beyond tonight.

We’re not fit enough, we’re not fast enough and we simply aren’t good enough. Tactically naive with absolutely no desire or belief in winning.
I would have sympathy for Hughes if we had gone for the win.

I dont feel angry tonight more, sorry for the team
I think the Zouma substitution due to injury was the critical one
yep the Shaquiri one is a classic Hughes 'own goal' / clanger
but losing Zouma - that's what really stuffed it up for me
and we're gonna struggle now as our best two defenders are now injured for a while, sadly
and all this 'Shawcross criticsm' and the 'we didnt create any chances' is:- total bullshit as far as I could see
new manager - change in impetus - a bit of money spent In January and, we'll be fine

Just to piss me off even more, Stoke let me down for a fivefold. Even Vale managed to score with nine men! For that reason alone, Hughes out! 😁
