I agree we have to somehow squeeze Charlie into the starting 11 along with Jese. Both offer goal threats and in what will be an attritional match we need as many as we can..without those 2 we seriously lack attacking threats

Throw the kitchen sink at em! The way things are at the moment it would probably bounce off the bar and smack us in the face. đŸ˜¡

Palarse had recently gone 8 home games on the trot without a goal and had scored 6 goals all season before we arrived. Tis battle of the soft touches this one

Bony 13/2 for the first goal or 12/5 to score anytime. Get this, Berahino is 5/1 joint favourite to score first or last and 7/4 anytime

It's a game that we could do with winning, but if we lose nowt will change. Les will still be here. Top half finish well within our sights at the moment. Oh sure we continue to lose matches one after the other and yet a top ten finish remains firmly within our sights ! Hope flows eternal, it is said, but you truly take it to the next level !!!

If we lose this one I'll start too worry. I think some people are hoping that were in a relegation battle. Not because they dont want stoke to do well but because theyre bored of mid tableness. Its probably natural in anyone to believe theres some excitement going on We'll be ok We won't be ok coz its clear for anyone who wants to see (rather than to keep his blinkers on) that we have completely lost the plot! Its the worst assembled team since we started this adventure in the Premier league. We still struggle to score, we dont even have a recognized CF, the midfield is being overrun and the defence leaking goals for fun. We have 13 points from 14 matches. How are we not relegation candidates? What was once fortress brittania has now become a fun day at the Bet365 for visiting teams . Bournemouth won their first away match against us, palace won their first home match against us

Get your head from up your arse pal its a must win game not even a draw would appease the majority of fans We are in a fight for our premier league future & if Swansea play like they did at Chelsea the other night we could be in serious shit.

This is the start of a series of must win most of them home games the next 7 are Swansea West Ham West Brom Newcastle Huddersfield Watford Brighton Now we are obviously not going to win every game but we couldn't ask for a better series of home fixtures, if the team and the crowd really give this a go we could be comfortably safe by the start of February. Then again it is a double edged sword because if we don't get a decent haul of points from this run I would have to admit we will be deep in the brown stuff. For now I am staying confident and while Swansea is not a do or die game it is close to it and we must get this home run off to a good start.

2-1 win stops the rot
1-2 defeat heralds deeper unrest and agitation
It could go either way
Just hoping they played Wednesday night like it was a 'bonus' game

My main concern on Saturday is that the fates are against us no matter how well we play.
It has been mentioned above Bony scoring; after not getting a red card in our favour last Saturday, wouldn't it be typical to get one against us for a "nothing incident" or 2 soft yellows?
We have a string of winnable home games coming up we shouldn't mount too much pressure on one game.

I would play a 4-3-3. I would drop Ryan (controversial I know), along with Erik, Choupo and Crouchie I would go with Grant Edwards-Zuoma-Indi-Tymon Fletch-Afellay-Allen Shaq-Diouf or Bera-Jese Think Jese deserves a go as well as Afelley. Here is hoping but it will never happen, especially that back 4 Still fancy us to beat them though

This is a must-win and anyone who believes otherwise is failing to recognise the gravity of the situation. Leicester won the title at 5k/1. So us going down at 3/1, or whatever it would be should we not win, is many magnitudes more likely to happen than that thing that did happen.

Fully expecting a war of attrition tomorrow, grinding out a 1-0 win. It will be ugly, long-ball, miserly, up-and-at-'em stuff, with the Shawcross-to-Crouch hoof being one of the most popular pass combinations.
And I couldn't give a monkeys if it was. We need 3 points tomorrow. I'm not saying I want us playing that way, but it does feel like it's all about the points rather than the performance or style at the moment. The players need to step up.

I hear all about this let's play 4 4 2..let's be fair it's not really as Shaq rarely tracks back to support his full back and when he does I don't think I have ever seen him make a tackle of note!!. That said he is not in the team for his defensive discipline..we need or Hughes needs to provide a solid platform from which he can be given free reign to drift along the front line and weave that left foot magic If I were Swansea I would definitely play 2 up front and look to target our defensive fragility.
