Bit random, but thought I would share it with you anyway.... Current Cheltenham player Jerry Gill (former Birmingham) has been appointed their club shop manager. I just thought that it is extremely bizarre for a League One side to have one of their players running the shop (despite the fact he owns Protech)!! New role for Parkin?!!

He is the only player - shop manager in the league! and his first task was to lose Cheltenham's red and white stripes - they now have an all red kit - apparently market research says it seels better and he runs the club shop - Cheltenham geta fixed amount of money - agreed before they changed their kit - the player has done a very good bit of business.

He may have done a good bit of business but I was very sad when I saw they had lost the stripes.
I have followed the Robins since they were in the Beazer Homes League (Jimmy Smith, Steve Book, Jason Eaton etc) and have loved their traditional stripes.
I am sorry to see them go but if it means more money then fair enough

I might be completely wrong here but i think Wayne Biggins ran the club shop when he played for Leek Town, I'm sure Leek Town Stokie will put me right if i'm wrong. ???
