Let’s hope he doesn’t get asked why we played in a white strip at Palace.
I think there should be some more important topics to discuss.
come on Radio Stoke. Let’s have some proper journalism.

Someone tell him we've only won 6 of our last 30 fucking game! Then ask him if his top manager at BET365 was performing as bad would he still be in a job. Gouranga.

Coates and Hughes, peas in a frigging pod. I suppose Hughes meekly plays the the Scholes and Cartwright game so the bean counters are happy. There's more chance of Pep Guardiola getting canned than fucking, Hughes.

Owner in 'publicly backs manager' shocker.
What did you expect him to say lads, "my axe's name is Miss Betsy and she's in mind to go a-choppin'?"

He's worried that he'll have to dip his hand in his pocket and pay Hughes some compo, then try to employ another manager on peanuts. It all smacks of some of the tight desperate times we had when he was skint. Does he really give a flying fuck what the supporters want? Gouranga.

Whilst last season is not irrelevant, I think there has been a marked improvement in our actual performances v last season. If that improvement hadn't materialised, Hughes would be gone by now. I genuinely don't think we are playing badly. We do, however, need to start turning decent performances into positive results.

He was never going to publicly say anything else was he? His comments towards the end of Pulis reign ranged between non committal and non existent. There was certainly no pretence we had been playing well. He believes every word. That interview told me one thing. A bitch whopping tomorrow night followed by a defeat on Saturday wont change a thing. He's safe for the very long foreseeable.

He staggeringly believed every single word he said. I believe he firmly wants to avoid making a change if he can possibly help it mate. But even if he was sharpening his death-dildo I can't imagine he'd say much different publicly at this stage of the season with so much still at stake.

A loss against Swansea simply CANNOT Happen, a draw would be a disaster.

I agree, he would never publicly say anything else, inwardly based on facts he will be thinking ahead & weighing up his options.

There was a marked change in his attitude towards Pulis well before the axe fell, although admittedly that was towards the end of the season. He was positively effusive about how we've been playing just now. It's really hard to see any combination of results leading to a Hughes exit imminently, after hearing that mate.

Fuck me Dave, I don't want to pick a fight with you but what team are you watching? We are wank at defending, our midfield is desperately threadbare and devoid of creation, we haven't got an attacker who has scored more than 3 goals and the system we're trying to play is garbage with square pegs in round holes. We look disjointed and unfit. Gouranga.

I'm expecting super Tony Scholes to step in as caretaker manager when Hughes gets the boot. Every cloud..

It's really that simple and that thought is rather scary going by his injury record.

Yeah the timing was markedly different when it was coming to the end of Pulis' time. I think two defeats and he'll at the very least be on shaky ground mate, nobody survives the fans completely turning. Hopefully it doesn't come to that as I still think the best case scenario is limping to May and getting rid then with some sort of vision in place.
